Monday Musings ~ May 3, 2021

You may have noticed we’ve been absent lately. A death in the family has taken an emotional toll on my heart and posting has been the last thing on my mind. When I returned home from being with the family, I was greeting by a deck of cards on the floor along with a certain card shark. Through my tears from the unbearable loss our family has suffered, the clouds over my heart lifted for a just a moment. Today’s moral…never play cards with the Ninja. This girl plays to win and will eat you alive.

Elsa

Live, love, bark! 🐾

  8. So very sorry to hear your news.. Annabell and I send you our condolences and let you know that you will be in our prayers. From what little I understand about Ninjas, they seem to know things and understand that you needed a temporary relief from your upset, so your Ninja provided it for you.. Take care of each other – we will be thinking of you, the family and the Ranch Hands.

    1. So grateful for your and Annabell’s kind thoughts. Yes, I think both Elsa and Norman realize things are definitely amiss but the comforting thoughts of all our digital friends, we’re hanging in there.

  9. I clicked on “Like” out of habit, but let’s just go with it was because I like YOU. I hate that you lost a dearly loved one, and will be keeping you in prayer as your life slowly returns to normal. The Ninja no doubt-along with Stormin’ Norman – will keep putting smiles on your face when you least expect it.

  11. Oh my. I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I hope that good memories can bring a smile or two through the sadness. My hope is that your “Ninja Girl” provides comic relief through those periods of ups and downs that are sure to follow for a spell. And just so you know, my old man The Poodle is seriously impressed with Ninja-Girl. He’s never been one for cards but he’s rethinking it now…. May the days ahead wrap you and yours in peace and comfort amidst the pain and sadness. 🙏

  12. I’m so very sorry for your loss, Monika. I did notice you were missing, but we’ve been so busy celebrating our 21st anniversary that I’ve done little else.
