    1. Thank you! Love your expression…potpourri of nature. Completely accurate in this scene!

  1. Embarrassed to admit how much time I spent looking for a little animal or something hidden in the photo. Then I read the comments and realized I was supposed to enjoy it for what it is. I guess art is not my forte.

    1. A-ha! Sometimes little critters are not the star of a photo. ( know, hard to believe with me, but there was something zen-like about the arrangement of that cone and needles below that stone.

  2. I now have THREE friends in Houston: you, our French friend Pierre, and my dog groom and work friend, Laurie. I do think we’re going to have to plan a trip to Houston next year. (What month usually has the best weather?)

    1. Unless you like HOT and HUMID, Houston weather can be pretty extreme. That image was taken in early April and there were even a few hot days then.

        1. Summers would be unbearable for me in the south. It may get hot in Denver (90’s and above) but the humidity hardly ever cracks double digits. It’s a ‘dry heat.’ 😆

    1. Why thank you, Helen. Sometimes just a sliver of an otherwise plain scene is the best.

  3. There are so many wonderful things to see in nature. You just have to take the time to notice them.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the pups, a smooch to Norman and a hug to you. ♥

    1. So true…and that little slice of ‘nature’ was taken in the heart of a big city-Houston!

    1. Yup…’just’ 91 days! But who’s counting, right? 😆 Surprisingly that image was taken in April.

    1. Thanks. Taking a sliver out of urban life brings peaceful calm some days. This ‘scene’ is from Houston if you can believe it!

        1. It surprised me encountering that scene since whenever I think of Houston, I think, HOT and HUMID, not mountain-ish. 😊
