    1. Hiya, JB. Welcome to the cafe! You can order anything you like on the menu.

  1. Now that is a fun ring-side seat! Brings back memories of doing cartwheels across the lawn in my youth!

    1. I’d be afraid to do a cartwheel this day and age-probably snapping like a twig! LOL

  2. Die Radschlaeger – a landmark of Duesseldorf. I keep wondering if you can stil see them everywhere, as in my youth.

    1. It is one of those inviting spots to stop, refresh oneself and watch the world go by.

    1. Me too. That whole trip was just incredible and whenever I go through the photos, I long to return.

    1. Practically. Just toss a line over the wall and your fresh meal is just a few minutes away.

        1. It’s such a wonderful pedestrian route with lots of lovely places to check out along the way.

            1. Yes, so many places in Germany are like that. Charming places to stop and rest while looking at fantastic sights. Were you stationed there?

              1. No. I worked for Bayer (a German company) and had to travel there every month for three years. I really loved visiting at Christmas time.It was so old world in celebration.

  3. I’m there in spirit! Where’s the teleportation machine (or at least Doctor Who) when you need one.
Nothing like sitting outside, sipping local wine and people watch – in any country!!

    1. That’s so true. I’ll start searching for an extra Tardis box to transport us!

  4. I would love to sit at that table. Pretty place.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches to the pups, a smooch to Norman and a hug to mom. ♥

    1. Isn’t it a lovely place? Had a marvelous visit with a friend-so much to see and check out. Düsseldorf is a wonderful place to visit.

    1. I love statutes like that and this one is in a particularly beautiful place along the Rhine River.

    1. Makes you want to try duplicating it (until you remember your age-at least in my case). 😉
