Die Radschlaeger – a landmark of Duesseldorf. I keep wondering if you can stil see them everywhere, as in my youth.

The riverwalk is fabulous for scenes like this one.
I used to run along the Rhine in the early morning. So peaceful.
It’s such a wonderful pedestrian route with lots of lovely places to check out along the way.
Koln is like that as well.
Yes, so many places in Germany are like that. Charming places to stop and rest while looking at fantastic sights. Were you stationed there?
No. I worked for Bayer (a German company) and had to travel there every month for three years. I really loved visiting at Christmas time.It was so old world in celebration.
