Monday Musings ~ September 23, 2024

WilsonToday’s smile is soooo Wilson. Now I understand that it’s the motion detector in him that causes him to end up following me even if I’m just grabbing a glass of water. Wishing you loads of quiet times this week. Happy Monday!

    1. He sure does…I need to figure out where the setting is that less sensitive to his radar hearing.

    1. If only there was an instruction manual that would tell you how to turn down the setting on motion and radar. πŸ˜†

    1. LOL, we think all pets have that motion detector feature built into their DNA. Happy Monday.

  1. Wilson’s pose looks just like the cat in my pic, he lies fluffy belly up with his paws curled, but is wide awake at the slightest hint of food!

    1. His ‘motion detector’ goes into overdrive…especially when it involves a cheese wrapper. LOL

    1. Thanks, John. Even if he’s sounds asleep, I can bank on Wilson waking up and being right next to me. It’s quite uncanny.

  2. Yep I feel your (hunger) pain! I grabbed a piece of cheese the other day and had it behind my back as I walked to the table. Holly say’s, β€œare you hiding that from the girls?” I said β€œyep”. She shook her head and chuckled. I ate my cheese only slightly demoralized. πŸ™ƒ. Have a great week at the Ranch.

    1. {Giggle} Thanks, Mike. These radar detectors are way too clever to try to trick. Wishing everyone at the Golden K a golden week!

  3. Bwahahahahahaha. They do have a built in motion detector. Good one.

I linked this post to Awww Mondays.

Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches to the pups and a hug to you. β™₯

    1. Food wrappers must be deafening for dogs or they instinctively know there’s a payoff for them. πŸ˜‚

  4. So that’s the reason!
A friend came over on Sunday….the thugs delighted to see him and then settled back to snooze – until I opened a packet of crisps! The charge of the Light Brigade had nothing on it!

    1. So true. Course he’s such a Velcro dog anyway; you’d think snack wrappers could wake the dead with our pet’s reactions. Happy Monday.

      1. Oh, he is NOT my houseguest – I don’t trust him and I will not traumatize my cat for her dog. I am doing some major back and forth daily. (Thank goodness she is a couple blocks away…

          1. Yeah. Clever… that’s what we’ll call it. We won’t say he is just one and full of energy and has a mistress who isn’t quite as disciplined as she should be….

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but please no growling.
