Monday Musings ~ April 7, 2025

Happy Monday, peeps. After a week of winter revisiting the Front Ranch, today is shaping up to return to glorious spring. Yay! Today’s early morning temperature low is nearly as warm as the past few days highs. I know both the Floof and I will enjoy it and may even take an extended walk around Sloan’s Lake to see how spring is shaping up there.

It’s going to be a full week for Wilson as he’ll be delivering some K-9 therapy this week at Lutheran…{whispering softly} which will mean a certain someone will suffer have the requisite bath and professional groom. Apologies buddy-please focus on all the attention and treats you’ll be receiving this week. Ooh, did I mention the best word around…I sure did. TREATS, TREATS and more TREATS. Hopefully that got his attention.

Smiles

Wishing you a ‘wagnificent’ Monday.

Live, love, bark! 🐾

    ~~~head rubss~~~BellaDharma~~~ an ((hugss)) BellaSita Mum
    1. Thanks. Yes, we all miss Miss Olivia’s Sunday chuckles. The House Ponyt has yet to be dissuaded about baths. 😭
    1. It’s a perfect healthcare policy…and good news…there’s no deductibles to meet!
        1. As today is our therapy day at hospital we’re sending you extra energy as you recover from the jet lag. Hugs and tail wags, dear Helen. Take extra time to rest up. Bet The Thugs were thrilled to have you back. Hope all went well with your business. 💙 🤞🏼 💙
            1. Thank you Helen. Appreciate that. Give the Thugs a nice ear rub from me and savor extra naps.
    1. That way he won’t look so much like a a muppet. 😉 Besides when he gets professionally groomed, it saves my back. When I have to bath him it’s like a rodeo event. 😉
    1. There’s no such thing as too much K-9 therapy. At least according to Wilson. 😆
    1. Thanks, Terry. We hope there’ll be lots of smiles this week. Hope it’s been a good Monday and not too much rain on your end.
    1. We’re big proponents of K-9 therapy works. It’s always ‘pawfect.’ Even when there’s a bath involved.
    2. Wilson couldn’t agree more with you guys. Baths are no fun for bathee or bather. Here’s to loads of K-9 therapy.
    1. Many thanks, Marc. That K-9 therapy works for whatever ails you. Happy Monday.
    2. Best that medicine offers these days! Spring returned much to our delight. The House Pony and I walked just shy of 10 miles yesterday-it felt awesome!
  2. OH gosh your header is gorgeous! I wish I had thought of that type for me as well.
    Love the cartoon and ain’t it the truth about K9.
    Wilson!! You got this (bath) don’t even think of it.
    1. Thanks, Carole. You’re too kind. Wilson has already requested the new bison treats I recently bought. He’s no ordinary fool. Happy Monday.
    1. Thanks. Wilson would be welcomed no matter what…but hospital rules require baths whenever we visit. He’ll survive with enough treats. 😆
    1. Knowing how clever this floof is, I’m sure he’d see through the whole ‘rebranding’ with calling it a spa treatment. Maybe if I referred to it as the “Treat Restaurant,” it might fly…until the water got turned on. LOL
    1. And another bonus, there are no high insurance premiums taking K-9 therapy. 😉 Happy Monday, Frank.
  3. Wilson is sure to bring smiles and happies (which I suspect has nothing to do with being bathed … tho may be enhanced by it) … Happy Spring y’all!
    1. Thanks, Ann. He does seem to enjoy a growing fan club. Happy spring, Happy Monday.
    1. Thank you. Yes. It’s a pretty doggone good addiction to enjoy. Happy Monday.
    1. Thanks. I’m sure he will once he associates more lap visits and cuddle time. Happy Monday.
    1. Thank, Mike. Hope you and the Golden Girls enjoy providing K-9 this week. Happy Monday.
    1. You got that right! The world would be even crazier if it weren’t for our pets and I suspect that jails would be fuller. 😉 Happy Monday.
    1. Best magic spell on Planet Earth! Here’s hoping you receive loads of the best potion around. Happy Monday.
    1. Thanks, Debra. Like most dogs, I think he has a short memory. Paws crossed. Have a lovely week.
        1. Oh my goodness! Have a great time bringing smiles to all who meet your sweet girl.
  4. I’m sure the treats got his attention. Love the funny. I agree.
    I linked this post to Awww Mondays as always.
    Have a fabulous day and week. Big hug to you and lots of scritches and extra treats to Wilson. ♥
    1. Thanks, Sandee. I hope he isn’t too traumatized about the bath and hopefully the new bison treats will offset his discomfort. He truly is a big baby about baths. Hope you and the kitties have a good Monday and many thanks for adding us to your Monday hop. You’re the best!
  5. K-9 is way better than B-12, I’ve no doubt 😉
    As for the floof, hopefully it will be endurable making him all the more handsome!
    1. Thanks. I agree…K-9 is much better than B-12 (and far less painful). After last week’s moisture and resulting mud, the white on his legs is far more grey. Even if he wasn’t going to hospital, he’d need a bath and I’m just grateful I don’t have to bulldog all 80 lbs. 😉 Happy Monday.
