Happy Monday! We hope all you pet mom’s had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. While the calendar says it’s spring, we find ourselves more in summer with temps in the mid-80’s with mostly clear skies.
Wilson found today’s smile and said he totally agreed with it after a weekend of good weather with lots of helicopter leaf seed pods finding their way to sidewalks. I swear this boy is a lot like having a toddler…he has to be watched like a bloody hawk so that he doesn’t put everything in his mouth. And here I thought dogs processed their worlds by sniffing, when in fact, in his case, everything is processed through his mouth first.

Here’s hoping you have a totally pawsome Monday and an even better week. Wilson says, ‘don’t eat anything he wouldn’t eat.’
Live, love, bark! 🐾
Mew emw me wWilson what a funny an true comick!! Mee mite bee part Poochie…mee lickss stuff off THE floor an carpet all THE time! It makess BellaSita Mum cray-cray!!!
~~head rubss~~BellaDharma~~ an **giggellss** BellaSita Mum
Glad you enjoyed this week’s smile. Wilson hasn’t gotten on the ‘lint taste great’ wagon. Yet. LOL
Lint ISS UCKY Miss Monika…mee goess fore foodabull crummss 😉
I am thankful that the most our pups try to nosh on is grass and old walnut shells (Benji)…sometimes they try to nibble the fallen down birdseed…even jumping the little fence there as a reminder to stay out, LOL!
Wilson tries to be a some sort of foodie when it comes to leaves and seeds. Today he took objection to a squirrel trying to nosh on fallen seed pods and sprang into defense mood in a heartbeat. Luckily he responded to my recall command. It would not have been pretty had I not called him off though in hindsight, I have to wonder if I should let him go after them. We share the same feelings about squirrels and it’s not positive. Doggone tree rats.
Java Bean: “Ayyy, if it fits in the mouth, it goes in the mouth! That is the street dog motto!”
Oh Bean…you do realise that’s not helpful support to mums?
lol, with puppy Nolan it’s the same thing! Everything seems to find its way into that boy’s mouth!
It’s like having a toddler all over again! Thanks for swinging by. Hopefully pupster Nolan will out grow it. 🤞🏼
The only surefire way to discover if something is food is to taste it.
That’s precisely Wilson’s motto for sure! 🤣
Everything! LOL
So true.
And just for the record, Wilson always fetches my smile for me.
You’re too kind, Marc. Wilson is a firm believer in the “everything” concept. LOL Happy Monday.
Smart boy.
Well…truth is Wilson would never missed an opportunity to nosh on any ‘possibilities’ he’d come across 😉
A boy after my own stomach.
Now that’s the kind of food pyramid I can definitely buy into (Teddy too!).
Hugs, Pam
Maybe Wilson gets it from me. 😆 Happy Monday.
I have a cat like that. 🙂
Hahaha! You never know what they’ll eat next. Hope it’s been a great Monday.
That’s such a good one Wilson!
Thanks. So glad you liked today’s smile. We hope you have an outstanding week!
My cat Sasha likes to eat fuzz on carpets. Weird but hopefully not as dangerous as string or rubber bands.
It’s always surprising what they will fixate on to satisfy their cravings. The only female sheepdog I had LOVED discarded Kleenexes. Every trashcan in the house had to have a lid. Oy! Happy Monday.
My friend has a dog that will go into purses to retrieve and shred tissues. No purse is safe unless it’s zipped. A group of us were at her house yesterday and the dog emptied one of the purses looking for tissues. Fortunately, she’s adorable so you can’t get mad.
Ha, the enduring qualities of our pets. That pup must have been a ‘cousin’ of Puck’s!
Love the cartoon. We are going to have above 103 on Wednesday. Hard to believe. Wilson and Tempeste ought to go on a date. They would have plenty to eat for sure.
Awk…seriously…103? Ugh. Wilson would definitely show Ms. Tempeste all the really tasty leaves. 😆 Happy Monday.
We just like the fresh spring grass for a few weeks and then we are done with the outdoor buffet for another year 🙂
Your mom is lucky. Wilson should have been named Hoover or Dyson for all that he tries to suck up. 😁 Happy Monday!
Boy, I bet you have to keep a pocket full of treats to distract that guy!
You don’t know the half of it! Happy Monday.
Well, that didn’t eliminate anything. Thanks, Wilson! I knew you were my buddy! *wags* Lucy
Much to Wilson’s delight! Happy Monday, precious Lucy.
Happy Monday! Hahaha, about the canine food pyramid! 🤣Its good that Wilson has such a good mom looking out for him and reminding him that not everything is edible!
Have a great week! 💕
Glad you enjoyed today’s smile. I need to be faster on the draw…He’s quick like a bunny. Happy Monday.
Walks are always a bit of a tug of war. So many interesting things to put in one’s mouth and then throw up at 2 am.
He’s too clever and too quick. It drives me crazy. Nothing like barf or diarrhea to make a pet mom sigh frequently. I hate cleaning rugs at 2 AM!
2 am is not my ideal cleaning time either!
Love the funny and it’s ever so true. I guess I can eat anything I want this week. Excellent.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a fabulous day and week. A big hug to you and lots of scritches to Wilson. ♥
Thanks for including us in your Monday hop. When I saw that cartoon, I was sure Wilson wrote it! Hahaha. Happy Monday.
With my two Golden’s you’re preaching to the choir in regard to the food pyramid! After today, we are warming back up here at The Golden K. We are ok with that and ready. Have a great week at the Ranch!
Thanks, Michael. This hollow legged boy is going to be the death of me yet! You’d think after a few belly aches, they’d put 2 and 2 together. 😉
It’s warming up here too, Upper 80’s. Ugh, not ready for that yet. Neither is Wilson. We’re going to have to do our walks at sunrise. Stay cool and have a great week!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Too funny! I love the Monday smile!! Thankfully these two aren’t quite that bad. Having not been raised around Sam, they don’t steal people food – or even look for it – when it’s left within their reach accidentally. BUT anything out in the yard is fair game. Which is why I put tomato plant fences around the bottom of the bird feeders area. Thanks to the squirrels, there’s at least as much birdseed on the ground as there is in the feeder.
Glad you enjoyed today’s smile. I’ve never seen a dog put so many things in his mouth as Wilson. It’s completely unbelievable that he thinks everything needs to be tasted! Happy Monday, Sue. Give the pups a nice ear rub from us.
🤣 Thanks! I will do that! And we all send ear rubs to Wilson! Hope you had a good Mother’s Day weekend!
we totall agree… for a good start into da new
week
I’m all about good eats but not everything is eat-worthy. Here’s to good taste what doesn’t give you a bellyache. Happy Monday.
That food pyramid just about sums up my lot’s ideas!
Life seems so simply in a dog’s mind. It can be a full time job getting them to understand not everything is edible. 😉 Happy Monday, Helen.
