Monday Musings ~ October 27, 2025

HalloweenIt may be Halloween week but we’re adding a culinary twist to celebrate. So go ahead and pull up a chair and enjoy a Halloween Venti on us. Let’s bring out the smiles.

We hope you had a great autumn weekend and are now ready to start out the week in ‘spook-tacular’ fashion. Just know we’re not here to ‘hide and shriek.’ Feel free to leave the corniest Halloween pun you like. Hope there are smiles galore today and throughout the week with plenty of plates of Boo-rittos for snacks.

Halloween

But please don’t skimp on the hops, eh?

Halloween

Live, love, bark! 🎃

    1. Hahaha…and they probably just thought the sugar tasted a bit off. Hops will do that to you. 😉 Wishing you a great week, Bruce.

  1. Spooky and funny all at the same time! I’ve said this before but I really love Fall, the change of colors, wood fires, comfort food, etc. But I can never fully embrace it because of what comes next – dreaded Winter. 😬

Wishing you a spooktacular week and Halloween.

    1. Thanks Mike. I’m guessing autumn is so ‘spooktacular’ since winter follows it’s footsteps. Have a wonderful Monday!

    1. It’s good to poke fun at things we aren’t crazy about. I’m with you on Halloween. The doorbell ringing all night long with a barking dog…um, no thanks. Have a great Monday!

    1. Bwahahahaha…you slay me, John! Glad you enjoyed the ‘recipe’ even if it was a bit short on hoppiness. Have a spooktacular Monday!

    1. So glad you enjoyed today’s post. I’m sure we’ll transition well to ‘turkey’ day. Gobble, gobble. Happy Monday.

  2. Love them all. You made me laugh out loud more than once.

I linked this post to Awww Mondays.

Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Wilson. ♥

    1. Thanks, Sandee. So glad you enjoyed today’s silliness. And thanks for adding us to your Monday hop. Have a spooktacular Monday!

    1. Hahaha…I laughed out loud when I saw that comic. So far, no one has had a Halloween pun either. As long as people are smiling, that’s ok. Happy Monday.

  3. Having suffered a plague of cane toads over the week end…the more ‘hops’ in the cauldron the better!

    1. Oh gosh, you have our sympathies on being infested with cane toads. Those are some ghoulish critters even if they do eat loads of unwelcomed bugs. Happy Monday, Helen!

    1. I like your substitution suggestion! It’s that time of year where I need to whip up a batch of homemade Baileys. Soooo good especially tasty on cold evenings. Happy Monday, Sue!

      1. Ooooooh, homemade Bailey’s??!! Send me some, or at least your recipe. The last store-bought bottle I had was VERY disappointing, to the point where I haven’t replaced it (since right after last Valentine’s Day).

Oh, and I still owe you an email.

    1. Buying candy was an adventure. Lots of shrinkflation and reduced chocolate. That’s no fun if you prefer chocolate candy. Here’s to a ghoulishly good Monday!

    1. So glad you enjoyed our silliness today. Happy Monday.
P.S. We hope you have a ghoulishly good birthday! 🎃

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but please no growling.
