Good morning peeps. We hope you had a good weekend and are enjoying improved temperatures. With 32 days until the official arrival of Spring, things are starting to show signs that temps is moving in the right direction after a seemingly endless winter for many. We saw our first daffodil blooming on Saturday right before attending the rescue fundraiser at Kendra Scott’s. Wilson was quite the guest and seemed to enjoy all the attention and treats. He even tried his hand with herding after his appearance but was somewhat disappointed with the results. He said, “those doggone difficult creatures showed him no respect.” You can judge for yourself if the sheep disrespected him.

Have a marvelous Monday.
Live, love, bark! 🐾
There’s only one whose the herder and that’s you, Wilson🐱Extra Pawkisses for the both of you🐾😙💞
Thanks. I just wish that sheep would have not been so stubborn!
Mew mew mew that Sheep seemss to bee sorta frozen inn space an time! Not yore fault Wilson!! Wee bet you herd REEL guud!!!
**nose bops** BellaDharma an **giggellss** BellaSita Mum
Wilson now realizes how hard-headed sheep can be. LOL
Wilson looks very proud
Thanks. He couldn’t understand why that sheep ignored him but luckily he’s fairly grounded emotionally and didn’t take it too hard. The magic pocket of treats may or may not have been his motivation. 😉
Sounds like a great event but this is an especially stubborn breed, I think.
Thanks. It was a good event but that hard-headed ewe was more than stubborn. It could give a herding type guy like me a real comlex. Luckily Mum made me feel better with a nice dehydrated bison treat.
Your fur-iend,
Wilson 🐾
Wilson looks positively dashing!
Aww, aren’t you sweet to say that! Thanks…and Happy Monday.
🙂
Not baaaaad, Wilson, not baaaad.
Thanks. He cleans up nicely, even if he can’t herd for beans. 😂 Happy Monday.
I’ve heard that TYPE of sheep is “hard-headed” and difficult to move (without a tow rope). Tell Wilson that I would gladly allow him to herd me anywhere!
Hugs, Pam
Bwahahaha…good one, Pam! You’re very sweet to offer Wilson to herd you. He kind of got a complex from that hard-headed ewe. 😂
Wilson looks so happy. Have a great week, you two.
Thank you, John. That’s very sweet of you to say. He had a good day bringing smiles to folks. Hope it’s been a good Monday for you. Here’s to a swell week.
Oh, Wilson! Maybe he will encounter a more amenable sheep later 🙂
I hope so-it would be bad for my reputation if it got around that I was a lousy herder. 😂 Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are well and having a great Monday.
Lucy: Hi Wilson, looking dapper, as usual. How dare that big old sheep snub you! I never would.
Thank you, dear Lucy. I knew I could count on you! Wishing you and the entire gang a pawsome Monday.
You don’t look very sheepish Wilson but you do look incredibly handsome!
Well, aren’t you just a sweet as can be. Thank you! Happy Monday.
Did you herd him up on that bench?
Nope, not me. he was already there. I was trying to get him to move along and he completely ignored me! Phooey.
We hope you have a wagnificent Monday and week.
Forget welcoming Spring – we never had Winter. I’m thinking of planting snow peas and spinach next weekend. But then I’ll have to *water* them.
We need moisture.
Boy, isn’t THAT the truth. Did you get a teeny sprinkle the other night? Ours was so puny there were hardly any puddles. Harumpf! We hope you have a great Monday!
It’s raining here this morning. We’re happy about that.
Wilson is so handsome.
I linked this post to my Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Wilson. ♥
You’re too sweet, dear Sandee. Thank you for adding us to your hop. Glad somebody is getting some rain. It’s been unbelievably dry here and will be close to 70F degrees. In February, our coldest month! Have a great Monday.
That sheep does have a bit of a smirk on its face. So Wilson may have a point. I’m gonna go with him on this one. Glad Monterey nature is showing favor to you. We too are getting lots of precip over the next week plus, including about 8 to 10 inches of snow over a couple of days this week. That’s quite a bit for us are just 3000 feet elevation.
Have a good week. Sounds like a couple of warm wood fires are in your future?….
It’s one thing to disregard the attempts at herd that guy along but the smirk really galled Wilson. 😉 The temps continue to be warm for February and we have yet another wildfire alert today. This lack of moisture while snow is falling every else is getting ridiculous. We hope you have a cozy Monday, Mike with ear rubs for the Golden Girls.
Lulu: “Did you try telling it ‘Baa Ram Ewe’? We hear those are the magic words when it comes to sheep!”
Wilson: Hmmm, I’m going to have to try that the next time!
Have a pawtastic Monday.
Poor Wilson…. you picked a particularly difficult one to try to herd!
Happy Monday to you all!
Thanks…they are so doggone stubborn! Happy Monday, Dale.
Hahaha!
Tough sheep for one’s first effort at herding!!
Hee, hee…that sheep was not impressed with Wilson’s herding efforts. Happy Monday, Debra.
😀
Thanks for swinging by. Happy Monday, Eliza.
Perhaps he should pee on that sheep!
Ha! He’s…usuallly…pretty polite about marking. Thank goodness. In that neighborhood, I don’t think the locals would have appreciated a baptism. Happy Monday, Kate.
He doesn’t look defeated.
He hides it well, doesn’t he? LOL Happy Monday, Jacqui.
Sheep? All I see is a handsome dog rocking a red bandana.
Awww, you’re too kind, Dan. Have a wagnificent Monday!
at the end he is the boss of all sheeps ;O) have a good start into a new week
Wilson says he is only the boss of me. I think he’s probably right. Haha. Happy Monday.
Sheep can be so difficult……
They can definitely be quite a challenge. And very stubborn! Happy Monday, Helen.
