Wordy Wednesday

Sorry for the lack of a post on Tuesday. My “editor” and I seem to have had a difference of opinion yesterday morning and we failed to agree on a post.  Lately Sam hasn’t been particularly helpful when it comes to fulfilling his duties as the muse around the Ranch.

Does anyone else have trouble with their “editors?” Mine has been especially capricious of late. He will no doubt be mightily upset when I leave tomorrow for a wedding/family reunion. Uh…suck it up, Buttercup…you had your chance. [snicker] In the meantime, till that hound comes through with something, how ’bout a bit of ‘bathroom humor?’

  1. Sand Spring Chesapeakes – Cambria, WI – My husband and I have six "furry" children Gambler, Glory, Guilty, Slammer, Gertie and one cat Bones and two furangel's Norman and Nellie. We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.

    Lol, cute!

  2. Oh, it’s a bummer when the muse won’t cooperate. But, heck, I only post once a week now, so you look like you’re doing great to me!

    Cute pic!

  3. I don’t do anything to a schedule, which I must admit made it challenging getting everyone organised for our daughter’s performance at the Sydney Opera HOuse. I have never had trouble with total writer’s block but I do get stuck on projects and have been avoiding my main book project for some time.
What I do have is cleaning block at home. I get the essentials done but writing taken precedence…along with Mum’s Taxi Service.
Hope you’re having a great week.
    xx Rowena

Thanks, Ro. I’m always impressed with your ability to juggle writing and family. You definitely get a gold star ⭐️ for being on top of it all.

  4. My Golden Life – Upstate South Carolina – I love animals, especially dogs. I enjoy US history, and reading biographies of our former presidents and other historical figures. I love the music of the '60s and '70s since I was growing up in those decades. I love the Beatles and Andy Williams equally.

I haven’t had a blogging schedule since I don’t know when. Since I retired I decided I wasn’t going to do anything on a schedule unless absolutely necessary. 😃

That could be a good or a bad thing!

  5. Sam, you’d better start coming up with some posts while your Mom is gone to avoid this kind of embarrassing bathroom humor! (although it is really funny, BOL!)

  7. tippysmom2 – I adopted a puppy in 2013 and it has been an adventure ever since. My Facebook friends love her stories, so thought I would share with others as well.

Love the photo. As you know, I don’t post on a regular basis. I am trying to do better and am shooting for once a week, at least. So, for me, I just don’t have time to post every day. Too many other things going on in my life. And, that is okay. So, don’t worry about not posting every day. Sometimes, you just need a break to live life. Have fun at the wedding.

Yes. A class might help, as would learning to use the word “no” more often. LOL
