It’s a brand new week filled with promise and all sorts of possibilities. Mine will be hectic and full in anticipation of company arriving soon with preparations being made for their visits. Hope yours is grand, and the AC works its magic during the dog days of summer.

  1. Sand Spring Chesapeakes – Cambria, WI – My husband and I have six "furry" children Gambler, Glory, Guilty, Slammer, Gertie and one cat Bones and two furangel's Norman and Nellie. We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.

  5. Bank holiday here (Tuesday) so planned shopping trip canceled. Just have to clean up the house instead….not my favourite job but I am sure that the thugs will assist, bringing me things to put away, diving into the cupboards once the doors are open….

  8. Bring on MORE coffee!! We’re actually hoping for a quiet week, after the turmoil of our blog migration last week. All went well in the end, but the disruption to my routine is not taken well (I’m worse than the dogs)!
    We are having a spell of a couple cool days. Our summer really hasn’t been that hot so far, but August is yet to come!
