After a mild weekend temperate wise, we’re back into sweltering status along with most people on the East Coast. My advice…take naps, lots of naps. I’ll be there as soon as I drink my coffee. Stay hydrated and enjoy your week.

Ugh, it has been so stinkin’ hot here! I can take it for a bit but we’re in an official heat wave now and I’m getting tired of it already! I’ll just remind myself how little I like Winter….
I despise the heat and am looking forward to autumn which starts in 80 days. But who’s counting, right? 😊

It’s one of those words that is just ‘pawfectly’ descriptive when you have dogs. 😍
Our humom can’t take naps so we take them for her while she runs around taking care of our every need! ;p

The heat is bad, and the humidity is even worse. But the “was that a tornado that just blew through here?” derechos being kicked up by the heat and humidity are the absolute worst…
Yikes! That sure does make the other two minimal.
I lost power for 5 hours Thursday evening. Others in the city weren’t as lucky and spent several days in the heat with no power…

Sorry, I couldn’t help chuckling at the January, February thing. Funny how dogs manage to hog heater and air conditioning vents. They know all the best spots. 😁

I’m fighting a cold too, which, along with our sweltering temps, makes for feeling a tad more miserable than usual. My poodle love however is at my side and I’m sure quite thankful to be indoors in air conditioning…. 🙂 Happy Hot Monday.

Fighting a cold with coffee, ice water, and as little time outdoors as possible. I know the girls love being outside – especially Ducky – but with the heat and humidity, I hate it.
Sorry to hear you’re ailing. Feel better soon. The ground was so hot a couple of minutes ago, the dogs didn’t want to pee in the dog run! Eek.
Poor babies!! It hasn’t been that bad here thank goodness. I’ll be ok. Taking some Mucinex to break up the congestion.
