    1. Greetings Frank! Thanks for dropping in; hope this finds you well and not roasting too badly in the heat wave. I was thinking of you a couple of days ago…were your ears burning? Yes, Deborah Butterfield’s work is truly amazing using common elements.

        1. I hear you and agree…it DOES seem worse this year. Here’s to the great indoors with certain icy beverages to help pass the time. Stay well.

  1. Oh, that is soooo cool! I wonder if they can do one of a doggie? that would be super duper cool!
Maybe a doggie sippin’ a margarita…..just puttin’ it out there…
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥

    1. Ha…wouldn’t that be clever?! I have seen dog topiaries but never driftwood. Either way, a margarita would be a good addition to the it.

  2. Wow! That is so cool! And yeah, I can see Friday… but then it is followed by Saturday and Sunday which are my Monday and Tuesday 😏

      1. LadyMew sayss this Horsie reemindss her of THE Horsie inn THE paintin called “End Of THE Trail”
LadyMew can not reememburr THE American Artist who painted it or “Deliverance” butt hee was a wel known artist way back when…

  3. I think we need to tear that statue down. When it was a young tree, back about 200 years ago, it said some inappropriate things about other plants.

  4. I love driftwood art……using just the right piece makes it absolutely come alive when they assemble it doesn’t it……..REALLY nice!

    Hugs, Pam

        1. 😊 Just start gathering up sticks now to assemble into lawn art which would probably be adorable and not doubt the talk of the neighborhood.

    1. It really is yet I know I could never assemble anything that beautiful.

    1. Isn’t it amazing? The artist does such amazing work with driftwood.

    1. Thanks, I loved the exhibit which were all horses. Driftwood shows such amazing texture.

        1. I sent you another image via email. The link sadly doesn’t show but a few examples of her beautiful work. Wish I’d taken more photos but the light that day was crummy.

    1. Thanks! Isn’t it cool? Love how the driftwood goes together to tell a story with great texture.
