They were and man, was it a beaut!
Even the first car I learned to drive on (Grand Prix ’73) – talk about a big-ass, long nose, powerful beast that was!
I loved that thing. What in the name of hell were my parents thinking letting a 454 engine in the hands of a 16-year old? That thing had a kick down at 100 miles an hour… Ahem.. So I’ve ahhh heard… 😇😏
That brings back memories. We were staying in New York for a few days pre cruise and went into a Hard Rock Cafe. They had cars bonnet first hanging from the walls and I was sat right next to one. I couldn’t take my eyes off it in case it came crashing down!
Ummm Miss Monika iss Wednesday today….you sorta rote Werdless Monday???
LadyMew thott it was Furiday today…mee thinkss THE Virus has confused efurryone alot!

That reminds me of Eddie’s Fabulous Fifties, a Reno casino with fifties cars suspended from the ceiling and fifties music. Alas, it is no more-lucky craps players made it go belly up.
now that was a car you could make-out in! Remember scootching over on the big bench seat so you could sit right next to your date? Before we had to wear seat belts? (I do)
I love the Hard Rock Cafe atmosphere. The only one in Houston is in the airport.
They’re loads of fun but always worry about the ‘parking’ jobs 😂
All I can say is – “that must have been one helluva night!”
Haha! Yeah, management is gonna have to talk with the parking valets. 🤣
MOL…that’s hard, ja…MOL😸Pawkisses for a Happy Thursday to you all🐾😽💞
A beautiful car but I think the driver lacks parking skill. I haven’t been to Hard Rock Cafe but I received 2 t-shirts as gifts.
Thanks for dropping by. We always 💙 visitors. Hard Rock Cafes are fun (but touristy) places. More fun to visit when you’re with a group of friends.
Now if Mary Kay was offering these babies, I mighta stayed with the cult…
But I’d park it a tad better, I like to think!
I do like pink, just not in a car.
Can’t say I do, either. Though Mr. Foucher, who lived across the street from us, had the coolest pink – I wanna say oldsmobile.
😳 Oh my. Those old style boats were definitely a sight to behold.
They were and man, was it a beaut!
Even the first car I learned to drive on (Grand Prix ’73) – talk about a big-ass, long nose, powerful beast that was!
Oh yeah. I had a ‘63 GP. It was a great muscle car!
I loved that thing. What in the name of hell were my parents thinking letting a 454 engine in the hands of a 16-year old? That thing had a kick down at 100 miles an hour… Ahem.. So I’ve ahhh heard… 😇😏
Bwahahaha! I know exactly what you mean. Mine vehicle of muscle was a Mercury. Man that thing was a beast…Off the line and to park! 🤣
Oh yeah! That’s for sure!!
I was VERY popular at that time 😉 Who wouldn’t want to ride in that black beast with the red pinstripe…
Zoom zoom with a dish behind the wheel!
He he he…
Oh, I see Ma has been driving again….sigh.
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Bwahaha! Oh Ruby…you crack me up.
A flying car!!!!!
Now that you mention it, it reminds me of a posh version of the flying car used by Harry Potter and his friends.
That is pretty cute
Cute but a bit unsettling.
The only time I’ve been to one of those was in Cancun, many moons ago. It is a fun chain.
But always a bit unnerving seeing a car hanging from above one’s head. 🙂
For sure!
Now that must have been a wild ride!! 🙂
GPS gone array.
That sure is an interesting place for a car to park:)
Happy Wednesday.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Getting out of the car would be quite the first step.
That brings back memories. We were staying in New York for a few days pre cruise and went into a Hard Rock Cafe. They had cars bonnet first hanging from the walls and I was sat right next to one. I couldn’t take my eyes off it in case it came crashing down!
It would be more than a bit disconcerting to see large portions of cars on the walls of a restaurant. 😳
Actually, not the worst parking job I’ve ever seen.
Happy Middle Week Day, Monika.
Bwahahaha! I think this might be from where “rock star parking” term originated.
I think you’re right, LOL
If I stuck my rear end out the window like that, it wouldn’t look so classy…
Hahahaha! 😲
Way cool. I’ve not been to a hard rock cafe for a very long time. Years and years. I remember having fun.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the pups. ♥
They were quite the place back in the day. A bit too noisy for me now. 😉 Thanks for hosting today’s hop. Alway fun to see what everyone posts. 😍
A pink American car, that is a dream.
Those Cadillacs were more like a boat than a car! The pink however is a somewhat of a dream.
Ummm Miss Monika iss Wednesday today….you sorta rote Werdless Monday???

You’re the best!
^^blushin^^ here Miss Monika 😉

Who doesn’t like a Pink Cadillac?
Just have to retake the driving test….
Bwahahaha! The switchback roads here in the mountains can be murder.
Visitors coming from the airport by bus sometimes reckon it is about to take off over the edge of some of the bends!
It was like that in Mallorca. Heaven help you if a vehicle comes over the hill and you’re in a bus on a one lane road.
Wow -talk about a wrong turn!
No kidding! 😆
now that was a car you could make-out in! Remember scootching over on the big bench seat so you could sit right next to your date? Before we had to wear seat belts? (I do)
Those ‘boats’ were all the rage back in the day and perfect for piling a tons of kids into for a night at the drive-in movies.
Looks like it didn’t QUITE make it into the garage! HAHAHA
Hugs, Pam
{Snorf!} Driving those big beasts ain’t easy. 😂
