Hoping things are cooling for anyone who’s been broiling under the heat dome.

  1. Hello tails around the ranch. Good to read that you are having fun. Over here I home-made some fresh watermelon juice and kept it in the fridge for the night. It was nice to sip some cold juice during the day. Have fun while the sun is shining.

    1. Greetings. When you own a black dog (Elsa) you tend to limit fun in the sun when your altitude is a mile high. We’re more admirers from inside a nice air conditioned room. 😆 Enjoy that tasty juice on hot days.

  2. I feel checked out right about now, so this t-shirt is perfect.

On the upside, the temps crashed last night after it rained. Plummeted into the 70’s, where I wouldn’t mind it staying for a while.

  3. Um……YEEEEEESSSS!!!!!!!! Hey, wants me to drive my margarita truck up there????!! Waits…no. Why don’t you guys come down here! It’s only 80!! I KNOWS! Usually WE are the ones in the 100’s, butts we somehow lucked out this time. Butts, I still feel real sorry for those OR & WA peeps, cause most of them don’t have AC!! I can’t imagine going through those kind of temps without it! yikes!
I hopes it cools down soon for you guys!
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥

    1. We haven’t been as hot as those in the PNW either. Thank dog, too! And at least we have AC when it goes back up which it will-July is our hottest month. Ugh. 🥵

    1. Six sounds about right, so long as they’re goody and frosty. Nothing worse than a warm beer on a hot day.

  4. I’m so with you. Love it.

Have a great Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the pups, a smooch to Norman and a hug to you. ♥

    1. My heart goes out to everyone who is suffering. Folks along the Oregon coast aren’t used to such highs and most do not have air conditioning. Add in forest fires on tap to rival last year and it’s a perfect storm of inhospitable conditions. Our hearts go out to all who are suffering in this conditions. Stay safe and cool, Michael and give the girls ear rubs from me.

  5. A Margarita will have to wait until after work – otherwise my accounting will be creative!

    1. 🙃 Or quickly balanced! But at least we hope you enjoy one when you are able.

  6. It sounds dreadful. We had it in France years ago…even in a house with stone walls a metre thick the heat finally got through. Followed by a winter with temperatures of minus eighteen for over a fortnight which is what made us take a holiday in Costa Rica and the rest is history.

    1. Whoa…so that’s how you got there, eh? The heat on the West Coast is completely unbelievable. I cannot fathom 118ºF in Seattle. And to think I was whining when it was ‘only’ 102ºF here.
