Top ‘O the Morning To Ye

The  Leprechaun Ranch Hand sends his best Irish wishes to you. ☘️ Erin go bragh! ☘️

Meanwhile the Celtic Sluagh…aka The Ninja, seems to be [once again] preparing to hunt down my soul. If there’s anything to that adage, ‘luck of the Irish,’  now would be a good time for it. Then again, she could just as easily be channeling the Celtic goddess of evil magic, “Carman” who, as a destructive witch, roamed around with her three evil sons: Dub (“darkness” in Irish), Dother (“evil”) and Dain (“violence”), destroying anything or anyone in their path.

It was thought that Carman was responsible for cursing Ireland’s crops until the Tuatha De Danann (peoples of the goddess Danu) used their magic to fight and defeat her.

Elsa, St. Patrick's Day
I am NOT amused, nor am I Irish

May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow, and may trouble avoid you wherever you go. Happy St. Patrick’s Day from everyone at the Ranch. Slainte!

Live, love, bark! 🐾

    1. Thanks, Lulu. He does look pretty fetching in green, now that you mention it.

  1. May the leprechauns dance over your bed and bring you sweet dreams. Hailey O’Bug and Phod McFetchy

    1. So long as they keep the mischief to a minimum. There are enough mischief makers at the Ranch. 😆

  2. Cool story……hope the luck of the Irish (or non-Irish) is with you to protect you from any evil-ness the pups may be thinking of perpetrating in protest of having to wear costumes today. They look adorable – maybe that alone overcomes the evil thoughts they’re having??? Happy St. P’s!

Hugs, Teddy O’Kimmell and Mom Pam

    1. There’ll be plenty o’treats served this week to make up for it, trust me! ☘️ Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

  3. Aw, the two of you are most adorable. Love the tie.

Have a woof woof St. Patrick’s Day. Scritches all around and a smooch to Norman and a big hug to mom. ♥

    1. She sure does! Luckily some high value dehydrated beef lung treats seem to go a long way. Talk about the luck of the Irish!

    1. She’s not a fan of hats or any photographic falderal-ery. Reluctant as always, but nothing that a good tasty treat will reset on her irritation meter. May every petal on the shamrock bring you joy and good luck. ☘️

  4. With that Ninja stare I think you’re wise stay clear of her today. Hers an old Irish saying (that I just made up 😉): “may your pints be plentiful and your heart a lark. And never to far from your loving pups bark”.

    1. Well, aren’t you just a regular James Joyce! Love your made up poem-it’s ‘pawfect!’

    1. {blush} You’re too kind. Thank you! Here’s hoping you have a swell St. Patrick’s Day. ☘️

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but no growling please.
