Oh, my! I have to be corrected, because at first I thought that was a lady bug on some asparagus, LOL!!!
Lupines! Yes, hope that little bug eats her fill.
Thank you. That red is what caught my eye. Then I took in the whole view with the stalk and walked back to photograph it in our garden. Norman and Elsa were a bit cheesed since they thought โhurrah, weโre finally off.โ We (meaning me) were a bit waylaid that morning. ๐
That is a terrific photoโฆโฆโฆ..I am another BIG fan of ladybugs. Donโt see as many of them as in past years but so far this Spring seeing more than last year. They ALWAYS make me smile!!
I donโt get this weather at all. This past weekend was hot and humid, around 90 degrees in Annapolis, MD, and today, Wednesday, I woke up to a temperature of 56 degrees. Oh well!
I think that will be the norm in the future. Weโll all have to be prepared to ride the weather roller coaster. Personally, I prefer the lower end on the temperate scale but canโt remember receiving snow so late in May.
Omg! And I already put all my sweaters, jackets, boots away! I enjoy the weather between 50 to 80 degrees. No humidity please, but living in Maryland humidity is one thing for sure you will encounter as temperatures go up.
Yeah my sis lives in Frederick; Iโve heard about the humidity. Springtime in Colorado is always a crap shoot but it seems itโs getting more severe and extreme all the time.
From personal experience, I believe that the best weather for Summer youโll find it in Massachusetts. I lived in MA for 5 years and the one thing I miss the most are the gorgeous Summers. The only down fall is that the Summers tend to be shorter than in Maryland.
Here in Colorado, itโs a dry heat since humidity is a rarity. Usually hovers in upper single digits or very low teens. When it gets hot, itโs like a pizza oven, but not a sauna. ๐
Charlee: โLady bug, lady bug, fly away home!โ
Chaplin: โOr, you know, fly into OUR home so we can chase you.โ
Now, now, Chaplinโฆladybugs are not wind up toys.
The Good Luck Post!
At this point, Iโm nearly 100% confident weโre quickly approaching summer now. Nearly 90ยบF today. Sigh.
Wow!
Great catch! Love ladybugs. ๐
Thank you. They have a knack for making everyone smile.
Wonderful photo!
Thanks!
Cute!!
Thanks. Everyone loves ladybugs!
Last spring I saw some aphids on my mandevilla and my first thought was oh good I can go get ladybugs and set them free in my yard!
Best โherbicideโ ever! And the lupines always have aphids. That ladybug has to be in hog heaven.
Yes, love to seem them so busy!
Aaawww!! What a cute little ladybugโฆa sure sign of Spring!
Most definitely!

Sheโll be a right little Rollie-pollie.
Amazing! Lee and Phod who are hour 92.5 hrs without power, but hydro guys have been spotted on ATVs in our yard so hopefully soon!

Thatโs a lovely compositionโฆshape and colourโฆand to top it all, it features a ladybird!

That speck of red caught my eye. Not to bad for a cell phone. Norman sends his mid-week best.

Thanks. I love ladybugs and they love the lupine which always seem to have more than a few aphids. Insert crawling skin emoji here. ๐
