Therapy Monday ~ October 24, 2022

Monday

While it may be Monday, chasing a ball as a form of therapy won’t be necessary since Norman will be visiting the hospital this week. Assuming I can get him out of bed this morning, that is. We had the teensiest speck of snow last night and the big guy is taking his sweet time getting up from the smallest bed in the house. Let’s just say Elsa wasn’t amused he bogarted her bed. Luckily everyone just snuggled in their respective spots staying cozy and allowing the storm pass. Today will be crisp but sunny. Typical weather for Halloween week. Sorry kids.

Norman

Here’s hoping your Monday is full of joy and sunshine.

Live, love, bark! 🐾

    1. Ha! Not the worst place in the world to be when the weather changes. Have a lovely weekend.

  1. Looked like one dog in the basket until I read the comments. So cute. Wish I could give them a big hug and have a cup of tea in person with you too!
    Best wishes,
    Ro

    1. Less than a skiff; we may get some wet stuff later tonight. We’ll see what Mother Nature has in store for us today.

        1. We were just out on our morning walk and it’s a mix of rain/snow. Not likely to accumulate but it’s a shock nonetheless. Stay warm!

  2. Good thing Norman isn’t in Calgary right now… they got way more than a speck!
    Love that toy 😉
    Happy what’s left of Monday!

    1. I’ll be sure to remind him to be glad of that. And myself as well. 😆 Have a super week. Hope the new job is going well.

      1. Hahaha! Winter IS coming, he has to accept that.
Thank you and you as well. New job is going well, the floors will be finished today, the fireplace comes in this morning… woot!

    1. That Barkers Mark toy always cracks me up. Norman sure seems to enjoy that ‘beverage.’ 😆

  3. Xena: Mmm hmm, I see the bottle. I know why Norman’s not getting up. That never, ever happens here! (What, Mom? I’ve seen this stuff on TV!)
Lucy: Rise and shine, big guy. Your handsome self is needed to therapize the kids!
Chia: Snow! Woohoo! I’ve never seen snow! I wanna come to your house!!! Woohoo!!!

    1. There ‘may’ have been some liquid comfort dispensed for having to endure a bath. 🤣 Somehow I can just picture Chia racing around in snow.

    1. Isn’t it hilarious? There are all sorts of beverages in that line. Especially enjoy seeing the Dog Perignon 😂

    1. It was really not much to even mention actually. But so typical of the week before Halloween. 🎃 Have a super week!

  4. You do what you have to do, Norman. I know you’ll do your job. You’re so handsome.

I linked this post to Awww Mondays.

Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches to the pups, a smooch to Norman and a big hug to mom. ♥

    1. Many thanks, Sandee. It was a very busy day for Dogtor Norman. He was a bit worn out; hopefully today won’t be as busy and he can spend special quality time with folks today.

  5. Time to get up and at ’em Normie! Everyone you will see during your rounds will have a MUCH better day after they see you……….I’m sure of it!

    Hugs, Pam (and Teddy too)

    1. Thanks, they definitely were glad to see Norman. Hopefully they will be again today.

    1. The weather is leaning toward the next season a bit more. We should have real snow by Thursday. Luckily, it usually doesn’t last long this time of year and temps will likely be back in the 60’sF by the weekend. Cue the beginning of yo-yo weather. Up & down and all around! 🤣

    1. He did but not before a good nap in the littlest bed in the house. It was too funny to see his gigantic body in that little nest. I think he was trying to warm up after his bath.

        1. Normally Norman would even attempt to scrunch up in that bed; I suspect he was trying to stay warm after a bath.

  6. What a sweet photo of the Ninja and Storming Norman!! Although I’m sure Elsa would choose a different adjective. 🤣 That’s okay cuz I love them both. Have a great Monday and a great week!!
