It’s Monday again…where did the weekend go? Wilson has been entertaining himself by making friends with various bugs who are making their last hurrah before summer finally hits the road. They have at least the next 10 days of friendship, according to the forecast.

Dear Wilson Friend: with your purrmission, I have asked mine Mommy to copy this cartoon and paste it on “my” refrigerator (low level, of course). You see, I love to chase and attack and play with the occasional bug that enters here (death to all!). She does not purrmit pest control (stinky) peoples into our apartment. But when they do their thing next door, those buggers run here for a day or two and I have my fun with them. However, I have seen some new and interesting moves and techniques in this cartoon which I’m very anxious to try next time around. It will add more amusement to my attack-and-play event days! So, thank you for sharing. BTW: hope you and Elsa are well, we have been (and will be) a bit AWOL now and again due to our ongoing innernets issues. Meow, JUNE

Well…those tree dwellers are in a whole other realm. Wilson came within a couple of tree leaves of snagging his first the other morning. Ever so much so that the leaves stained his white fur! I think we heard that little vermin gasping for his breath and life.

They do make for splendid playmates…even if just for a few seconds.
MJF was exactly like that dog at time…of course being a JRT, everything is ‘prey’ to play with…or worse…
Our kitties were just like that too…Simon’s cat has similar funny moves in his cartoons, that are so hilarious!
{snicker} Crickets are big enough to track and slow enough to be caught this time of year. The grasshoppers are way to quick and Wilson loses interest fast. I think his favorite are small spiders and those rolly polly pill bugs. It cracks me up.

He’s not the quickest exterminator but he is the most entertaining. On the plus side, it’s one less bug and no chemicals were used. 😉

ha ha that was funny. Our Rollo eats them though. He is not a great playmate.
Wilson does too but first he toys with them (mostly I think they’re trying to escape the jaws of death-and then he uses his bid tongue once he realizes it’s a quicker way to gratification. LOL Happy Monday, Thomas.

When Xena was still a puppy she would eat the tiny ants on the sidewalk from the door to the church where I worked.
Makes you wonder if it’s their movement or just what attracts their interest. No matter what, it’s sure entertaining.

I’m feeling the last hurrah out here too. It usually goes from hot to freezing in a matter of days. Fingers crossed though for a little Fall moderate temps for at least a week or so. Have a great week!
