Good Monday morning, peeps. Welcome to Monday. While it seems as if everyone is just trying to get through the election, do you realize there are only 71 days left this year. Don’t know about you but that is somewhat alarming. Where has this year gone?

It should be noted that Wilson is a bit of a cheapskate when it comes to tips. He can’t seem to help but lick his bowl spotlessly clean for all meals. I guess not sweeping up bits and bobs of crumbs is my tradeoff for actual tips. There’s no doubt he’s quite the neatnik when it comes to not leaving morsels of food on the floor. If only he could be convinced to wipe off his nose prints on the front door.
Wishing you a spotless Monday.
Live, love, bark! 🐾
Wilson iss furry neet an cleen! Mee flingss kibble all over kitchen floor! An dropss wet food on floorss two….mee iss furry messy! Yore comick iss funny!!
***purrss*** BellaDharma an **giggellss** BellaSita Mum
There is no such thing as errant piece of kibble around Wilson. BOL
I’m looking for Norman 😀 haha!! We are all watching/waiting for the US election, too. I hope you are well 🙂
Thanks, Paul. We’re all a bit nervous about the elections and hope for everyone’s sake sanity prevails. Stay well and keep smiling.
At our house, Olivia goes around and cleans all our food bowls and the floor around them after every meal. Nothing is wasted here! Mom says it was the other day that she was trying to remember to write 2024 and now it is practically over. Crazy.
We had that happen to us recently. Out of the blue, and for some inexplicable reason, she wrote a year long gone. Talk about a brain hiccup! Here’s to clean bowls every year!
Time flies. Only 71 days left of the year. I like the funny cartoon.
Glad you enjoyed this week’s smile.
Crumbs? What are these crumbs you speak of? I live with a pack of collie-vacuum cleaners, we never have crumbs….ever! Lol
Hahahaha! Good point. I’ve often thought I should have renamed Wilson…Dyson or Hoover. He inhales his food!
Charlee: “After I finish my meals, both Chaplin and Oona have to come around and lick my bowl to see if I left a few crumbs. I think that must mean I have better food than they do …”
No doubt! 🤣
The only tips I get are face-licks and cuddles! I’ll take that!
💙 Not bad at all. I’d take it, too!
Stepping on random dog kibble is like stepping on legos. Ugh
Too often it disintegrates when you’ve stepped on it and then you have to get out the vacuum to clean it up. Ugh, indeed. There’s more than enough housecleaning as it is when you have dogs. 😁
Bahahahaha!
I commend Wilson for always cleaning his plate, that’s a very good boy.
His and any plates nearby! Happy Monday.
He’s so efficient!
Well that’s one way of looking at it. 😉
LOL
sounds like my lab… but he also might remember going hungry before he moved to the ranch. Milo is like my other poodle, eats when hungry, ignores it otherwise. The little fat poodles you see must be eating a lot of treats, he’d eat a treat to excess!
All of my poodles have been grazers too. Dogs like Wilson on the other hand eat like they haven’t had a meal in days. 😉
Ha, yes, those darn nose prints! Wren also likes to ‘clean’ herself along walls and furniture, ugh! 😣
I like to think of them as dog art. 😆 Wilson is definitely a post modernist.
LOL!
Did you see this? Hilarious and very creative! https://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/dog-groomer-turns-his-poodle-into-a-skeleton-for-halloween-using-nontoxic-dye-for-pets-video/?utm_campaign=newsletters&utm_medium=weekly_mailout&utm_source=22-10-2024
Oh my gosh! That’s wild. And very clever. I cannot even imagine trying to groom a poodle like that. Elsa would have a fit! 😁 Thanks for sharing.
Yeah, definitely not for the Ninja! His poodle is clearly VERY patient to deal with all those hours of grooming.
I’ve owned poodles since the 70’s. Not one of them would ever tolerate that kind of grooming and fussing! 🤣
We are blessed with a couple of neat-niks too, Monika. They would never allow a piece of food to remain. They are also nose print artists like Wilson. I don’t think that is ever going to stop. I hope you and the ranch hands have a lovely week.
Thanks, John. We hope your week is filled with great artwork. 😉
Thank you, Monika.
Me, the Peach, licks effurrything clean too… when I get a chance of course…MOL… Double Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead to all of you🐾😽💞
Thanks Peachie. Wilson doesn’t want to let anytime get stale. 🤣
I feel your pain as the ex-President once said! There are nose prints on the windows here!

Guess there are great artists in all pet homes 😂
Our kitties leave tips quite often here!
Aren’t you lucky? 😉
How generous for mom and dad to clean those tips up. Elsa refuses to eat anything that is t in her bowl. Unless of course, it’s the mail. 😳 Have a great Monday!
That is funny. 🙂
It sure tickled our funny bone this morning.
I guess consider yourself lucky, no fuss and no post meal mess. My girls, being Golden Retrievers, leave nary a gram of food on the floor or their bowls. Koda actually does a good mop up on both bowls leaving them spotless without any evidence there was a meal served in them. So I guess I too am lucky. On the other hand Kloe often approaches me for a post meal kiss and burps in my face so I’ve got that going for me too. 🙃. Have a great week at the ranch. Ear scratches to the diners in your doggie cafe!
Wilson is like that. Course he does look like a mop sometimes so I guess that makes sense. LOL Have a great Monday, Mike.
Wilson is like my Chia, Lucy and Xena. They each lick their bowl clean, then go around licking each other’s bowls, too! And I don’t feed near a wall, so that doesn’t happen, but I do have to wash Xena’s beard frequently!
Beards, walls, that’s what life is all about when you’re a dog mom. 😁
You made me chuckle. A great way to start the week.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays as always.
Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches to the pups and a big hug to you. ♥
Many thanks, Sandee. That cartoon describes dogs to a tee. Sam was a big tipper-he would never eat food that he himself pulled from his bowl. Used to crack me up.
That is an interesting point of view.
Eating habits with dogs is always ‘interesting.’ Hope you’re doing well-thanks for commenting. Happy Monday, Kriistina.
Thank you. I know those eating habits, our German Shepard tried to eat, not only food, also the bowl.
One of my dogs did that; that’s when I switched to stainless steel. Can’t help but wonder why they chew up their bowls.
Some of them chew up everything, like shoes were very tasty.
So true. Elsa thinks socks are a food group.
None of our dogs leave any sort of tip. But nose prints on the doors and windows – those we have in abundance!
I feel your pain on the nose prints. My front door looks like frosted glass too often. Have a great Monday getting back into the regular routine.
It is good to be home, but I sure did love having few responsibilities last week. Sigh. Off to the airport this afternoon with Gracie.
Whoa…clearly no moss will collect under your rolling stone! Have fun bringing smiles to folks.
No morsel goes unclaimed here…..
Wilson even cleans up after Elsa who is less picky about the area around her bowl. Happy Monday, Helen. Give the Thugs an ‘atta boy’ from me.
oooh oooh ooooh and only 65 days till christmas… we have no gifts not even the idea of a gift… oyyyyyy
Awk…we’re right there with you on that and not even the Christmas cards have been created. Oy indeed. Happy Monday.
That’s better than having food bits stuck to floors, dishes, cats, etc.
Trust me, we have that as well, well except for the cats. I have to washing the wall and baseboard near his food bowl often. Sigh. Happy Monday.
Yes, someone needs to explain to me how on earth they get it on the wall.
I have asked myself that question at least a 1,000 times. It’s wild, isn’t it?
You are well said, I think so
