Monday Musings ~ June 16, 2025

Monday smile

Or in my case, that glow is from sweat. It was a hot weekend…just warning all you folks who continue to receive so much rain…trust me…summer is coming. Last week was super hectic and busy and we’re still recovering after a few days of hospital visits among other commitments. Wilson the Dogtor, was a big hit and now we’re hoping this week will be easy-does-it as this post visit nap shows how hard he worked. He was a good boy, brought loads of smiles to all he met and left everything he had at the hospital.Wilson

We hope you have a pawsome Monday!

Live, love, bark! 🐾

        1. I completely understand. It’s such a had time. Please know I’m keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers as this unfolds. ❤️‍🩹

  1. We have had a HUGE amount of rain – almost every day – we are happy for the grass, trees, and greenery but we are beginning to feel like we have moss growing on us from the DAMP! EEEEEEK! I don’t wanna be a moss monster!

    Hugs, Teddy

    1. Love it when the mind and sniff center wear out a dog. Have a super week.

    1. I envy dogs’ ability to chill out. They make it look so easy. Happy Monday.

  2. Aww, you both deserve a rest! And Wilson is absolutely adorable! That nap position is Zen’s most favorite, least modest of all his sleeping positions. Though I still fail to see how it can be at all comfortable. I love the Monday Morning Glow! That’s about the way I looked when I woke up this morning. I’m surprised Zen recognized me!

    1. Well, he does all the work…I just drive. Wilson always cracks me upn when he’s laying al ‘wheels up.’ This morning, Wilson looked at me when I got up and flopped back on the bed. He wasn’ty ready to go for a 5:45 AM walk. Then again neither was I but it’s the only time it’s cool enough to walk. And nice and quiet. Happy Monday!

    1. He gets better with each visit and the staff are always super happy to see him. Have a great Monday, Dan.

    1. Thanks. He sure enjoys meeting with lots of people and equally enjoys the recovery naps afterwards. Happy Monday.

    1. Thanks, John. Agreed…plus I expect he was so exhausted exposing his belly wasn’t a concern. Happy Monday!

    1. Thanks, Lori. He’s turning out to be quite the therapy dog and loves meeting everyone. Treats are a bonus. 😉 Happy Monday.

  3. Awww, you work hard and now it’s time to rest. What a great shot.

Tell mom I linked this post to Awww Mondays.

Have a woof woof day and week, Wilson. Scritches to you and a big hug to your mom. ♥

    1. Thank you, Sandee for your sweet comment and for adding us to your Monday blog hop. Sending hugs and tail wiggles your way. Happy Monday.

    1. People don’t realize how much it takes out of therapy dogs. They look like wet noodles who happen to snore. LOL We will pace ourselves this week to rejuvenate as well as catch up. Have a great week with your own pups and all the cat rescues.

      1. Cat rescue stuff has been pretty stressful, but we’ll keep plugging away. Pet sitting in June also super busy. I kinda hate summers!!

        1. Yeah, I know what you mean. Add the bloody heat and it’s just miserable. Sorry the cat rescue stuff is stressful. Hoping things calm down for you soon.

        1. I’d gladly switch with you (though I might miss the clear blue skies after a couple of days). Upper 90’s most of the week. ‘Only’ 97 days until autumn officially arrives.

    1. Thanks, Sue. Glad we were able to provide a smile. Have a wagnificent Monday.

    1. Thanks, Jacqui. He really leaves it all on the playing field and often needs a good couple of hour nap to rejuvenate. Then he’s ready for more attention and tail wiggling. Have a great week!

  4. Wilson, wow, you know how to do the chillin’ thing. Relax to the max. And good boy, we don’t even see a drop o’ drool …

    1. Thanks, Ann and June. I took another pic of him where’s his mouth is open and the drool made a hissing noise. LOL Poor dude was so exhausted. Stay dry and have a pawsome week.

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but please no growling.
