TGIF

Thank goodness it’s Friday! Woo-hoo. It was yet another busy week with some amazing visits at the hospital this week we hope to share soon. This meme pretty much describes life around the Ranch. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for a spot of rain or snow in the Mile High. While quite glorious, these 70+ degree days need to make way for some desperately needed moisture.

Oh, and in case you have been like me and had no clue…there are 38 days until Christmas. How’s that for terrifying?! I think I’d better have an extra glass of red tonight to fully contemplate how that happened. Hope your ‘pond’ is cool and your weekend pawsome.

Live, love, bark! ❤︎

  1. Sand Spring Chesapeakes – Cambria, WI – My husband and I have six "furry" children Gambler, Glory, Guilty, Slammer, Gertie and one cat Bones and two furangel's Norman and Nellie. We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.

  3. tippysmom2 – I adopted a puppy in 2013 and it has been an adventure ever since. My Facebook friends love her stories, so thought I would share with others as well.

My ducks weren’t even all in the vicinity of the pond at the beginning of the week, but, with the help of my mom and dad, I think most of them are at least in the same pond. (While in the process of having my great room painted, I find out, to my very pleasant surprise, that my step-daughter’s family is coming for a short visit – starting tomorrow. So, getting the house back in order has been a task that I couldn’t do alone. Wishing you and yours a very relaxing and fun weekend.

  5. I love that meme! I probably need to work on just getting all my ducks in the same pond. First things first, right? 🙂

Didn’t mean to scare anyone, but it took me by surprise so I thought I’d pass along as kind of a public service announcement. Since my grandkids are all way out of town, they’ll get what they love the most. Cold hard cash. 😊

  6. weemontyandmissmolly – - Dog lover - Obsessive learner of dog behavior - Sucker for the puppy-dog eyes - Dog mom This blog was started as a place I could spew forth all the wonderful facts about my beloved dog Monty but as I started my first post and I could hear him barking, probably at someone two blocks over bringing their groceries in from the car, I realized that he pushes my buttons as much as he brings happiness to my life. Trust me this is not a complete love-fest about a perfect dog but everything written is written with an underlying love and in hopes that someone can relate to or learn from my experience of being owned by my 18lb four-legged yorkie-x . This will be all about my pooch Monty and my family's struggle to balance what we perceive to be love for him and what he perceives as an opening to 'up' his position in the family hierarchy. Please enjoy and feel free to comment, we love interaction!! Shannon Hobson

I adore them but there are days when my Sam can be a real butthead. As in 5 out of 7 days a week! Elsa has an excuse…she’s a puppy mill survivor and till learning to be a dog. I’m just grateful she seems to only have picked up his good qualities (like being sweet as you could possibly ask for). The rest of it, she has managed to be somewhat independent of his acting like a toad. BOL ☺️

  7. I’m envious … it’s been pretty cold for this time of year so far. 70’s would be sweet! I love the meme, I’ve seen it before – but it’s so true in terms of how I feel most of the time in comparison to others. And it took me YEARS to get all my ducks in the same pond, too!
