Mom says it’s back to work for most peeps today. Sam here. She also told me we could still have fun and be healthy too. I’m not a huge fan of fruit and veggies; Elsa loves them but me, not so much. Mom knows I’m a rather ‘handsome’ fella, I mean, come on…I’m Mr. May after all, so she thought maybe if they looked more like me? I dunno know, would you eat more fruit and vegetables if they looked like you?
Um…yeah mom, don’t color me convinced, just yet. I think I’m just more of a meat and more meat kind of guy. Give those things to Elsa. She’ll eat anything-as you well know.
Live, love, bark! 🐾

I’m with Elsa on this Sam.
Bring on those brocdoodles & doodleberries.
He really has no idea all the good stuff he’s missing!
Ha ha, that definitely wouldn’t have convinced Cricket at all. But Luke is a fruit and veggie lover like Elsa, so we don’t have to dress it up for him!
Even clever dress ups can’t convince Sam. *Sigh*
Sam, you made my day! Thank you do much! Those berries and veggies are amazing.
It’s impawtant to eat well and have fun, right Kosmo? 🙃
Totta tosiaan, means so true Sam. I never forget to eat😋.
A cat after my own heart.
I’m with you on the veggies Sam…the fruits, howevers are DELISH! Though, Ma’s vet told her to try canned green beans (cause I wouldn’t eats the frozen or fresh ones) and I LOVES THEM! I KNOW! I’m as shocked as you are! Ma makes sure to gets the ones with no added salt, butts they are still tasty! That helped me lose weight. Nows, Ma loves those doggie veggie thingies, don’t gives her any ideas!
haha those guys made me smile, I would eat them!
My boys aren’t crazy about broccoli but they love carrots, apples, bananas, and berry smoothies when they can steal a drink. They eat healthy stuff better than my human kids but Sam sounds like a kindred spirit for my husband. He thinks meat with a side of meat is best.
Sam would be very happy with that diet but with the addition of two sides of meat! LOL 😝
Cutest veggies I have seen, too cute to eat. 🙂
Vegetables, say the thugs, vegetables? Not on your nelly.
The nearest they will go is porridge cooked and allowed to set in a tray, then breadcrumbed and fried…
This used to be my treat, but they have usurped it.
Sam acts like a spoiled toddler, turning up his nose at it. Elsa smiles and gulps it right down!
Oh, Sam, you gotta try ’em. Berries – we love them all but blueberries are our faves. We love carrots, lettuce, broccoli, green beans, wallymelon, canteloupe, peaches, and on and on.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
He’ll gum them till they are all mushy and then spit ’em out. Elsa will ‘Hoover’ on by and clean up.
OMD those are the CUTEST EVER!! Did your Mama make those? Please don’t tell me yes because if you say yes then I am certain there is NOTHING she can’t do!!
Haha No, I didn’t make those. I’m not THAT OCD!
That’s some incredible food art. Did you make it?
Not these. I’m too busy making peanut butter treats for them! BOL
Brèagha is a garbage disposal, LOL. Broccoli stems, carrot tops, lettuce cores… as long as it’s crunchy, (and I deem it safe,) she’ll eat it. Broccoli stems are her favorite though.
Elsa is the same way. Sam…yeah, not so much. LOL
Methinks Sam would be more moved with some beef jerky art . . .
Beef jerky art?! I’ll have to find some of that…till then he’ll get nothing and like it! LOL
I have to find some of that myself! lol
Haha! This is CUTE!!!!!!
Fun AND healthy!! 😇
It can’t get any better than that!! 🙂
Well done on the doggie carvings of brocolli and cauliflower! Love the blackberry image of the poodle, Mr May (*hope I got it right) You are good and it does look like Mr May😉
Food turned into animals makes us chuckle.
Sam would love the Prey Model Raw Diet. All meat, all the time!
Shush…don’t give him any more ideas! He’s already demanding sardines every night as a topper on his venison/buffalo kibble.
I buy the frozen ones from the Asian market so the pups don’t get so much salt. Did you hear that, Sam? (he, he)
Ssssssshhhhhhh! Next he’ll want them hand fed to him rather than from a bowl.
Eww. It’s all I can do to scrape them out with a fork. As Xena would say, gross!
And those tins aren’t exactly easy to get those things out of either. Invariably I spill some of that nasty oil on me. Ick!
I’m guessing you like the veggies that look like you two. Some love veggies and others don’t. It’s all good.
Have a woof woof day and week. ♥
And the more meat, the better.
Very cute veggies!
You’re the poster boy for May-the month that has Mothers’ Day? I guess Elsa will do June. Anything goes these days.
Elsa is a pin-up girl every month.
Sam … not being fond of fruits and vegetables makes you a manly man.
That’s what I tried to explain to mom. She doesn’t seem to understand, I NEED my meat to project all that manliness. 🙂
The cuter my food is, the better I like it – so clearly, poodle-shaped food would taste amazing!
Now, if only I can convince that knucklehead!
My girls eat fruit and veggies but if they looked as cute as your pictured snacks I would not let them. They are too cute and awesome to eat!
In Sam’s mind, cute just doesn’t measure up to meat. 😊
Good morning, Sam! What should I wish you now? Perhaps: have a “meaty” week! 😀
*Burp* Sounds like a pawsome idea to me!
The only way I can get my girls to eat fresh fruit and veggies is to almost liquefy them in the blender, add plain yogurt, and freeze them in little molds. (The dairy in the yogurt can upset their sensitive tummies, so I have to limit these treats.) Or, I can turn seedless watermelon into watery mush and freeze it for great summertime treats.
Ooh, I look those ideas. I just wish Sam would eat a few blueberries or beans once in a while. Elsa will snarf them up, but he seems less and less enamored. *Sigh*
He doesn’t even like apple slices?! My girls do; but Shadow poots so bad that even she can’t stand it. And I won’t give one what the other can’t eat.
I think he’d rather set his hair on fire than eat an apple bit. LOL Luckily Elsa cleans up when he spits it out.
Just like a boy – always leaving a mess for his sister or Mom to clean up. 🤣
LOL, boy ain’t that the truth!
