After a way too short of a visit with my granddaughter who’s visiting from Hawaii, it’s back to business as usual. As Miss Hailey leaves for her return flight this morning, we will prepare to make preparations for Sam’s hospital visits beginning tomorrow and will fondly reflect back at these two inseparable girls. How was your weekend?
Live love, bark! 🐾
The best things in life can be too short and fleeting!
Beautiful photo! Glad that she is safe from the volcano

Pee S: Safe travelss home Miss Hailey!
Thanks SH…thankfully she arrived home safe and sound. 😇
What a reeleaf Lady Monika!!!!
I know everything is ok with your lovely granddaughter otherwise you would not be so calm. But it is a bit on the concerning side just the same.
It more disconcerting her and the family are so far away than anything. Where they are, they are safe from the volcano but at 3500 miles away, not easy to go visit. I just grateful they are living their paradise every day. And just a bit jealous, too. 😉
Oh Miss Hailey is a natural beauty like her Mama! What a pretty, pretty young woman! Praying she is safe in Hawaii………(I know it is the Big Island with the volcano), I think Hailey is on Kauai?
She’s on the Big Island and on the opposite side from the Volcano 🌋 issue. She just texted me and she’s home now. The dogs are missing their BFF.
Cute photo! Hope she has a safe trip back.
Me too. She should be arriving in the next 15 minutes or so.
That’s a great, great photo! Glad to hear you had a good visit with your granddaughter, and will be keeping both you and Sam in my thoughts for all things positive 🙂
Thanks so much for your lovely comment on Susan’s blog for my guest post last week—much, much appreciated! I got your email, too—thanks! And I will get around to responding soon. Promise 🙂

What a wonderful photo of your girls!
😊
Thanks, I think I’m kind of biased but I couldn’t agree more. ☺️
On the occasions I can’t travel with my guys, nothing makes me feel so welcome where I go as an affectionate pup. The best host you could hope for.
Better than any 5-star hotel!
Wooftastic!
They look pawfectly comfortable💜
We had a long weekend!

Spent most of it outside napping, yapping & analyzing stinks.

Hope that extra long weekend has been a good one!
Granddaughters are a special kind of love. Yours is gorgeous and I’m glad you were able to visit.
They sure know how to tug at the heartstrings. 💖
Ah, so now your granddaughter and I have something else in common – certification as a vet assistant. That’s great! Does she have plans to go further, say to become an LVT or even a vet? Being a vet assistant is rewarding work, but it can also be very stressful emotionally. Perhaps she should also consider a seminar/webinar in recognizing and dealing with compassion fatigue. Jessica Dolce has a course, but I’m not sure what the link is. If you’re interested, I’ll look for it and pm it to you.
I think she’d like to go further but not vet school. Right now she needs a bit of a break after working and going to school straight through for the past 3 years. P.S. when you get the chance, I’d love the link for Jessica’s course. Thank you!
I just sent the link to you via FB Messenger.
Great. Many thanks!
Awww…precious!
😇
What a wonderful photo! They have a very special bond!
She sure does…Elsa was a little leery of her last summer when she was here but now follows her everywhere.
The picture captures such love.
From both sides. 😍
What a great visitor – I’m sure you’ll be sad to see her go, but it’s good to have something on the schedule to take your mind off of the too short visit.
We’re going to be so busy this week but I’m already starting to miss her. 😍
love that picture. A vet tech in the family, whee!!!!
I know…isn’t that the best?!
How wonderful you got to spend time with your granddaughter. Elsa seems to think so too. Have a great week of enabling Sam to “therapize.”
She is one of the most delightfully sweet people around. The fact she came to Denver to visit with some friends and spend a bit of time with her Omi makes my heart sing. She just graduated from a vet assistant program at the U of Hawaii and I wish her a life time filled happiness at doing something she is so very well suited to doing as Elsa can attest. 💝
🙂
it’s great to have such a fabulous visitor :O) … we have still weekend here, today is a holiday since many centuries but we sadly forgot that LOL
Enjoy that holiday!
You forgot a holiday!!! How could you forget a holiday? I’m worried about you :o)
