Monday Musings ~ December 30, 2019

Happy last Monday of 2019. Wow, it seems like this year flew by, doesn’t it? We hope you had a joy-filled Christmas/Hanukkah shared with friends and family. Now the clean up begins as we prepare for the next holiday. Is it too much to ask for this?Meme

Wishing you a safe and Happy New Year along with loads of luck getting all those holiday decorations put away.

Live, love, bark! 🐾

    1. Thank you, Vincent and thanks for dropping by our little “Ranch” and for the follow. We 💖 visitors and enjoy making ‘fur-iends’.

  1. Yes, I find myself saying how fast the year went every year of late. When I look back on memories and milestones – good ones and sad ones – I cannot believe how many years are now in between. So surreal how time can seem to standstill while at the same time, just speeding by! And, wouldn’t it be something if Alexa could do that! Happy New Year, my friend!

    1. Happy 2020 to you and the remaining Sibes. We hope this is an extra special and pawsome year.

  2. that last of the Christmas stuff got put away today. The weather is nasty so Mom & Dad are working on a puzzle. Happy New Year!

    1. Cold weather is a great time to work on puzzles. How your parents are better at it then I am. I’m the worst with puzzles. 🤣

    1. Not too bad but that’s more due to not putting too much up 🤣 We hope you guys have a pawsome 2020.

    1. Best New Year’s wishes to everyone at the FACE Foundation. Keep up the great work in 2020!

  3. You are dreaming in Technicolor – but wouldn’t it be grand?
Happy and wonderful and healthy and love-filled 2020 to you and yours!

    1. It’s that time of year where one’s thoughts turn to organization. Especially when you realize the perfect gift you found in August was buried in the back of your closet. 🙄

  4. We don’t decorate anymore, but when we did it took far longer for the set up than the taking everything down. I love this idea though.

Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. Happy New Year. ♥

    1. Right before Thanksgiving, I sold my beautiful artificial tree so things were fairly low-keyed around the Ranch. Now that what was out has been put away, I’m thinking of painting the living room! 😆 Happy New Year with fur-bulous wishes for a swell week.

  5. If only! I tend to drag out the “undecorating”. I do a little at a time. The tree is already down, then I put a few things away and moved a few things around. I got some decor for Christmas gifts so I want to leave those out to enjoy a little longer!

    1. The take down always seems to take longer. Enjoy the new decorations and best wishes for a pawsome 2020!

          1. First time in 10 years, NE doesn’t have a first round bye. We beat Philly and New England this season- the latter having something to play for and being at home.

Is it strange to say I thoroughly enjoyed this 5-11 season? LOL

            1. If only he had a front line, he might actually be halfway decent. If it weren’t for walk-on Phillip Lindsey, the Donkeys might have no offense. ☺️

                1. Next decade we’ll get ’em 🤣Unless the squabbling Bowlen family ends up selling the team…then all bets are off.

                    1. I really think they should convene every five years or so and examine what the owner has done. It will never happen, of course. But that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t happen.

                    2. Yes, I’d love for them to be held accountable for some of the stuff they do/allow. But you’re right, that’ll never happen. *sigh*

    1. Writing 2020 should be a problem, though I find myself typing ‘20202’ and having to fix that. LOL

    1. We received about 4 inches of snow on the 27th and it’s been cold. But the clear blue skies make me smile, even if I’m shivering. Happy New Year, Kosmo and Kristiina.

        1. We are spoiled in Colorado where there is over 300 days of sunshine. I hope the clouds lift soon and blue sky greets you.

  6. Hmm, I guess Alexa could hire a crew to come in and do it, right? I’ve decided to keep mine up through January (I’ve never done this before) because everything seems so dreary and depressing after taking them down. In February we’ve got Valentine’s Day, so, maybe I’ll decorate for that!

    1. I didn’t do much decorating so removing the few evergreen boughs which were beginning to drop needles all over wasn’t too hard. Things sure look dull now-maybe I should paint the walls to spiff things up? 🙂

        1. It’s like the packed clothes from vacation. They fit nicely when you left but coming home, they seemed to have expanded.
