Happy Monday, peeps! We hope you had a great weekend. Just a reminder…today is the final day to timely file your income taxes in the U.S. if you have not done so yet. I have always filed mine as early as possible but this year a Thundershirt might have made filing during COVID a little less stressful.
We hope you entire week is stress-free.
Live, love, bark! ๐พ
I’ve been tuning out of the news more and more lately! The nicer weather makes it much easier – I’d much rather be out in the fresh air than listening to all that craziness!
No kidding. Better for you on so many levels.
Haha…truth!
๐
Give me some chili and beer and I’ll demonstrate my thunder pants. ๐

Lulu: “I’m lucky that I don’t have to pay taxes! But I do collect a love tax from Mama and Dada once in a while before I will go in to lie down at bed time.”
Love taxes are the very best kind!
Wonderful blog i like it and the words are very expressive, hope we follow each other
Thank you.
Granny always does it immediately, so she doesn’t have to think of it for a whole year…MOL…๐ธPawkisses for a Happy Day to all of you๐พ๐ฝ๐
Good for her. Your Granny is one smart cookie. ๐
Maybe if Ma wore a ThunderShirt, she would stop yelling at the teevees when certain politicians and stupid talkin’-head came on it! ๐๐คฃ I wonder if it works better with two….better order two….
Kisses,
Ruby โฅ
Us huMomโs need a Thundershirt along with a good stiff one sometimes, especially if weโre watching the news!
We dogs are so glad we don’t have to stress about taxes, but we could probably use a thundershirt for Misty with all the thunder boomers around:(
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Sometimes theyโre just what the doctor ordered for reducing canine stress.
Lucy: Dad actually got our taxes (well, I guess technically his and Mom’s taxes) done early this year. He had to pay, so he didn’t submit them til tonight, BOL!
Xena: Why are you laughing. That might mean less food for us.
Lucy: *eyes big and silence*
Argh! Thatโs a bummer.
That is too funny! We filed ours a while back already…and yes we needed some strong drinks to get us through…and maybe a thunder-shirt, too…and a head covering to subdue the hair pulling. LOL!
Boy ain’t that the truth. Every year I think I can do this but end up pulling my hair out and hiring someone to deal with the brain damage. Me thinks alcohol sales probably go through the roof around tax time. LOL
Furabuluss cartoon!! LadyMew sayss shee cuud use a Funder-shirt to watch or reed THE mewss…it iss purrty scarey…..
Guud Luck doin Taxess….mee Aunty Judith did LadyMew’ss back inn March…Aunty iss grate! ๐

My return is done and the refund has already been spent! I always do mine early but so many people wait to the last minute.
What an accurate comic! Happy Monday! ๐ I got my flowers!
Good for you! I’m sure they’re lovely.
Thanks! My daughter and I had fun and they are lovely …. for now! Hopefully they will last for awhile! ๐

I think we all need a thunder shirt these days. Have a great week, Monika,
They probably could help some of the more uptight stressed-out types.
I agree.
It’s astounding how fear motivated so many people are these days.
๐
I dumped social media and the so called news a long time ago. I’m so happy I did. We always have our taxes filed the first week of April. Hubby does it on line because ours isn’t complicated.
Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. Scritches to the pups and a smooch to Norman. โฅ
You are very smart to dump social media and the news. It’s too depressing to follow it these days. Have a wonderful week.
I would dearly like to know what they do with it all….in clear terms, not pages of obfuscation.
The news anymore is only good for lining the bottom of a bird’s cage. ๐
If you stop reading the news, you’ll be a lot happier.
for a stress free but funny week for all of us ;O)
Here, here!
Where can we procure a Thundershirt? Mind you, it’s too late, our taxes have to be filed by April 30th so… I’m already flummoxed by the government’s need to take more than I’ve already given… sigh.
Happy Monday Monika!
Because of the panDAMNic, the IRS gave taxpayers an extra month. And yet there will always be those last minute filers no matter when what. Human nature, I guess. #procrastination
Ah… Like us last year. I heard tell either our provincial or federal supposedly gave us more time but honestly, who doesn’t have both taxes done at the same time? Kinda stoopid.
I was on the last day! I was waiting for my son’s papers and finally left him to deal with late filing.
Some people wait til the last minute when they owe taxes (as opposed to receiving a refund) and write the check at the last possible moment. Iโd just want to get it over and done with as soon as possible. Canโt imagine why anyone would drag it out.
I hear you. I usually file as soon as I get all my paperwork. The governments then send us an invoice or a deposit. Done and done

That cartoon is RIGHT ON TARGET……Since they don’t make thundershirts in human sizes, maybe a straight-jacket would work.
Hugs, Pam
I think human sized Thundershirts come in ‘liquid’ form. At least that’s what I tell myself. LOL
Oh yeah…..and I’d prefer that over a straight-jacket any day!
