Happy Monday. Here’s hoping all your ‘squeaks’ bring you loads of joy this week.

Live, love, bark! 🐾

  1. The squeeky toys came and went (mysteriously…)
I so miss that comic strip!
Happy Wednesday for your Monday because I’m having a devil of a time catching up 😉

    1. Glad you enjoyed it. We thought it was pretty fun…and even more, pretty accurate.

  2. Callie was my toy squeaker – she did it gently so as to not hurt the toy, but she loved her stuffed toys. Like Shadow, tho, she also loved their balls and playing tug with just about anything. Ducky loved her squeaky toys when she was younger; but she also loved ripping Kong Wubbas to shreds and letting her sisters play with the balls that were inside the toys’ heads. 🤣 Radar loved any toy we gave him to play with, but especially his tennis balls. And this “little” mama’s boy? He loves his Snuggle Puppy, sock monkey, and anything he can play tug with. Including his long leash, towels, toys, or sticks. Most of all he loves snuggling with his mama. 😍😍

  3. Fortunately (!) Ted isn’t interested in squeaks – he just enjoys grabbing hold of a toy and kicking it like crazy with no noises coming forth…….we’re glad he’s a kicker and not a squeaker!

    Hugs, Pam

  4. I don’t know if it’s typical of the Maltese breed but Max is not much interested in squeak toys, or any dog toys for that matter. The sole exception is his hedgehog and that gets only passing attention and still has its original squeaker intact.

      1. Nope. Strictly a money player – goes for the food. Did you watch the Ponies pre-season game? There is little except desperation and the gnashing of teeth ahead, my friend.

        1. I knew that in the off season. 😬 Watching the NFL preseason is like taking your brother to prom. Count me out.

That Max…always knew he was a smart pupster.

  5. MJF used to do that…Dalton just tries to get up close and cozy with me almost like a kitty would. Benji takes his fun in pestering Dalton for the best bed spot…then he makes endless aroofs and grrs =until either I tell him to stop, or he gets into as wrassling match…
My sister’s dogs love to bounce the fetch ball down the wooden steps…grab it and repeat…over and over again at like 2 or 3 am…glad they have not discovered that mode of play here, LOL!

  6. Been there, done that, heaven help me. The latest is big Riley tossing bones round the living room on the hardwood floor while we are trying to watch a Netflix show in the evening. I finally grabbed all four and put them up last night.

    1. Sorry, had to snicker about that. They do know how to push our buttons, don’t they? 😊

      1. Yes, and that boy is so smart. He reminds me of Lexi in that he understands me just talking to him. I also told him if he barked one more time I was going to put him outside until our show was over. He stopped.

  7. oh my word… yep, I relate. Last night I squeaked a particularly loud elephant toy and Milo HAD to have it, but couldn’t make it squeak. “this toy is busted!”

    1. They lasted that long, eh? What fun to find political squeaky toys. I can think of a handful for Elsa to ‘enjoy.’ 😈

  8. So cute and so true. I would give most anything to hear our Angel Little Bit and her squeaky toy.

Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. Scritches to the pups and a smooch to Norman. ♥
