We always hear the talk about solar power and how the wind turbines kill so many birds. But nothing is mentioned about how polution from other sources such as coal and gas and oil kill so many animals and fish.

We call those Bird Cuisinarts around here.
Bwahahaha! It became pretty clear why I never saw any birds (even the vulture types) while in New Mexico.
They fly up near the sun and simply explode from the heat. This is a well known scientific fact.
Plus they cause cancer. 😉
It’s worse in California. EVERYTHING causes cancer. Prop 65 warnings on everything.

I kinda like wind turbines. They’re – as you said – fascinating.
There’s something about watching the slow rotation that is very relaxing. And in wide open spaces like that, I feel everything slow down and exude calmness.
