You gotta glow away the clouds with giant fans out there? Incidentally, I’m making this comment from my Reader. It wouldn’t let me type anything in the comment box on your blog. More WP chicanery, no doubt…
We always hear the talk about solar power and how the wind turbines kill so many birds. But nothing is mentioned about how polution from other sources such as coal and gas and oil kill so many animals and fish.
Anyhow, very pretty shot, and sorry to rant about the above!
There’s something about watching the slow rotation that is very relaxing. And in wide open spaces like that, I feel everything slow down and exude calmness.
Stunning shot ❤️👍
Why…thank you!

Awsome clouds!!
Are the windmills very noisy?? We know some peeps in Europe who have a wind farm nearby and they hate all the noise pollution…
If they were I sure didn’t hear anything.
That is a picture perfect picture! 🙂
Hugs, Pam
Wow…that’s very generous of you. Thank you!

Phooey. Sorry for the difficulty in commenting. I don’t think anyone else has had any problems, at least that I am aware.
Gorgeous!
Many thanks! That’s high praise coming from you with all your amazing photos.

No worries. Right there with you. Thanks.
Beautiful big skies, sunset and wind turbines!!!
Thanks, guys. Those wide open spaces were really amazing.
Love the sky and the contrast you captured. Happy Wednesday!
Thank you very much for those kind words, Frank!
We have a lot of those here too. Great shot.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, my friend. Scritches all around, a smooch to Norman and a hug to you. ♥
Thanks, Sandee. It gives me hope when I see these things that maybe, just maybe we can save the planet. Hugs and tail wags.
WOW What a sky!
Thanks! It certainly was a beautiful sunset. And those wide open spaces were the cherry on top.
We call those Bird Cuisinarts around here.
Bwahahaha! It became pretty clear why I never saw any birds (even the vulture types) while in New Mexico.
They fly up near the sun and simply explode from the heat. This is a well known scientific fact.
Plus they cause cancer. 😉
It’s worse in California. EVERYTHING causes cancer. Prop 65 warnings on everything.
😵💫
OOOH, Thosze propellers make the earth go around the sun.
It always blows me away (pun intended) when I see these things out in the middle of nowhere.
Beautiful!
Thanks! Driving out there was so peaceful and calming while watching those turbines working away.
They are mesmerizing!
They really are and so much more attractive than oil pumpers.
Yes! 😀
Super photograph….and from a moving vehicle too!
Thanks, Helen. I got really lucky with that shot!
Let the winds blow ~
Oh trust me, they were a blowing!
I kinda like wind turbines. They’re – as you said – fascinating.

That is a beautiful pic!
Why thank you. Not half bad from the passenger seat going 75 mph on the New Mexico/Texas border.
Rather fabulous, if you ask me!
{Blush, blush} Thank you.
😀
Happy Oneth of December, Monika!
they remind me somehow about the old Metropolis movie…
Wind turbines fascinate me and at sunset…well they just seem to beg to be photographed.
