Welcome to the last Monday of August. Where in the world has did this month gone? {head shaking} I have no clue, but what I do know is that even the last Monday should start out with a smile. Here’s this week’s edition. Hope it tickles your funny bone.
Here’s hoping you all have a wonderful week with a minimum amount of thunder and lightning.
Live, love, bark!
Doesn’t “Mama just killed a man” speak to everyone? Or is that just me….
I love the lyrics to that song, as well as 99% of Queen’s catalog with “I’m In Love With My Car” being the most notable exception. Blech.
Proof that we cull that which means something to us from the songs we listen to, LOL.
Heh, heh, heh. Ain’t that the truth?!
Haha!
Ha, yeah, Wren, too. 🙂
😍
Hot and dry here, so nothing scary oughta the sky. And isn’t that song something like 87 minutes long??
Close. It’s one that you get to enjoy for a long time.
It’s toasty and mostly dry here (we got about 16 drops the other day-not even enough to wet the sidewalks. 🥲
the thugs don’t care for thunder etc….
How do i know a storm is on its way? The internet starts playing up and I have several dogs hiding under the worktable.
They can read the barometric pressure better than any Doppler radar system, for sure.
I don’t get it either but I like to listen to it. Keep these muses coming – it makes my week start off with a smile.
We’re always happy to get folks to smile. 😊
Hahaha!! :Good one! Happy Monday! 🙂
Happy Monday to you as well. 😊
Love that ‘toon! Started my day off with a big smile! Thanks for that……..
Hugs, Pam (and Teddy)
The thunder and lightening are better than the lyrics.

***purrss*** BellaDharma an ***giggellss*** BellaSita Mum
We might be in for some of that nasty noisy weather later today…we need earplugs! Yup…as if! Actually we don’t seem too perturbed by it..at least petcretary thinks that. We don’t shake or hide.
Thanks for your pawyers and support on behalf of our Pawppy. He’s been OK since *that* day…
So glad to hear your Pawppy is doing well. We’ve got our paws crossed that continues. Stay dry and safe. Happy Monday.
Bwahahahahahaha. Love it.
Have a fabulous day and week.l Scritches to the pups, a smooch to Norman and a big hug to you. ♥
Thank you, Sandee. It made me chuckle, too. Have a pawsome Monday and an even better rest of the week. Hugs and tail wags.
haaa! great… we love the misheard lyrics version… b*tch move over let him go ;O)))
The lyrics are beyond puzzling but still…one of the best rock songs ever.
Spare him his life from this monstrosity
Easy come, easy go, will you let me go
Bismillah! No, we will not let you go…
Lulu: “Thunderbolt? LIGHTNING??? Why is this song popular?!”
Because it’s Freddie, sweet Lulu.
Yep, dumbest lyrics ever but a loved song!
It’s Freddie, so who cares?
Every time I hear “Bohemian Rhapsody” from now on, I’m gonna think about this when that lyric comes around. I just know it!😂
Hahaha! It’s one of the few ear worms that doesn’t make me wanna bang my head against a brick wall. Happy Monday, Bruce!
Happy Monday, Monika!
Cute!
Thanks; we think it imperative to begin each week with a smile. Happy Monday. 😁
It sure is!
I see a little silhouetto of a man….
😆 Oh mama mia, mama mia, mama mia, let me go. Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for meeeeeeeee. 🎸
Ya baby! So funny…. two posts I am responding to involve this song!
On one of our cruises, we were 28 in our group (!) Really, not a group but timed so we were there at the same time 😉 Anyway… when we went to Antigua, it was the one time all 28 of us went together. Took a whole van and belted out this song. Was fantabulous.
What a great coincidence. Ooh, I’d have loved being at a cruise of a large group rocking out to Bohemian Rhapsody! Whenever Freddie and Queen are on Pandora, I have to crank it up. LOVE me some Freddie.
It was wonderful. Just like March 2020 – we were, lemme see… 17… so much fun,
And yes. CRANK IT UP!!
Woohoo. Now THAT’s the way to cruise!
You know it! My family – every single member – loves to cruise… as do a few of our friends 🙂
Another scary one is Knock On Wood by Eddie Floyd. He sings, “It’s like thunder, lightning! The way you love me is frightening.” My girls don’t like that one either. 🙂. Have a good week as we tip toe into September….
I’m a huge fan of Queen (in addition to Queen Elsa), so I tend to make allowances for Freddy. The dogs are not quite as forgiving but they cope. Happy Monday!
Galileo, Figaro.🤣
Brilliant! Scaramouch, Scaramouch, will you do the Fandango…
I see a little silhouette ta of a man
