You got that right! We’re approach 100ºF for the next couple of days. 🥵 I am so over this beast of a summer. Labor Day was great-as in no labor, just reflection on those who made the 40 hr. work week, paid vacations, and other benefits possible. We owe them a lot.

Rainy and dull here….and worse to come, it appears from the forecasts. Still, at least it is not hot.
We’re knee deep in hot temps still; should be nearly 100ºF today and tomorrow. The western US is in a huge heat bubble-I’ll be grateful to be past that and just pray we’re not stuck in it too much longer. 🤞🏼 The skies have been clear blue until today where smoke from the West Coast will arrive and cloud things up for a few days. Not looking forward to that scent.

That seems to be the question of the day. Every day. Sigh.
Well, usually I would agree about Labor Day. But the weather is lousy so no cookouts, and I’m coming out of my black cloud and want to work, so I finished up lesson planning and baked and cooked and daughter was here with her puppy and it was a wonderful day! I hope yours was wonderful (and lazy), too! 🙂
A day spent with a puppy sounds like the perfect remedy to any black cloud. Hopefully your weather will improve to be able to get outside and enjoy nicer weather.

I am being lazy today. Sure, I could take advantage of the extra day off and gig work, but this is a day to celebrate workers, not take advantage of them.
I guess this means that in 8 weeks you can start complaining about how cold it is. 😈
Heh, heh. I truly don’t mind cooler temps. Now howling winds and day after day bitter…well that’s another kettle of fish. Hope you and the AJF are well. You’re both in my thoughts frequently.

Happy Labour Day to you, too! Here, we celebrated with a 50 degree morning wake-up temp! And, I am, very leisurely, packing boxes so that my upstairs is cleared for the 19th when demolition begins!

Our mornings have been in the upper 50’s – low 60’s. Paradise for walking and sniffing by the dogs. Demo, eh? Whatcha doing?
Sweet and no heat!
I’m ripping out everything – all the floors, one wall, new kitchen, bathroom, heated floors. The works. Using my inheritance from Mick’s mother. So, needless to say, I am stressed beyond measure, right now.
Outstanding! I have no doubt it will be amazing when you’re done. Just remember to breathe. A lot. LOL

YESSS! We’re so excited to be on the cusp of autumn although it’s still toasty during the days, at least it cools down in the evening and is delightful on our early morning walks.
