It’s that time of the year where (1) everyone is Irish and (2) there’s hope that I will be successful in capturing a couple of ‘Irish themed’ pics with the Ranch Hands . Wilson is pretty chill about being dressed up…whereas Elsa took one look at my box of hats and flatly said, “NOT A CHANCE IN THIS LIFETIME.” Sigh. Luckily I found this cartoon for a seasonal smile and will see if there’s anything that might change her mind between now and March 17th. Wish me luck. Wishing you a terrific Monday and week.

Live, love, bark 🐾
Our MJF and sometimes Minko were good sports at the dress up stuff…way better than B & D, though they will allow it, BOL!
That is a funny cartoon! Talking snakes, Yikes!!
Lulu: “Our Dada says he’s going to try to remember to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day this year. We’ll see if he pulls it off or not. He’s part Irish so if he forgets, I think that means we get to bite him!”
I think it’s pinch, not bite but I get the whole “we don’t have thumbs” excess. Either way, hopefully you’ll all enjoy the fun of this day and act at least a little bit Irish…i.e. corn beef for everyone (well except for vegetarians).
No wonder we raise a toast on the Holy Day!
You gotta feel for St. Patrick…all those whiny snakes. Oy! Cheers.🍺
Right!
That is funny.:)
Glad you enjoyed it!
We’re not Irish here but we sure enjoy the festivities of St. Patrick’s Day!
As holiday’s go, St. Patrick’s Day isn’t a bad one to enjoy. 😉 Thanks for swinging by.
N him headed strait for de local pub afturr de snakez waz dropped
off shorez ! ☘️🍀🍺💚😺
No doubt…I’m sure he had a double or three to calm his brain down. 🍺 🍺 🍺 LOL
I DEFINITELY would NOT leave those decorations out where Elsa can reach them …
Why is exactly why there’s a big hat box. 😉 Hope you and the kitties have a great week.
I’ve got my greens ready to wear. Now to plan for a good Irish meal! I doubt Elsa will change her mind, at least if she’s anything like my Xena, who liked getting dressed when she was a puppy and teenage dog. We feel certain Angel Lexi came to her and said, “Whatever you do, do NOT let them dress you in clothes.”
While Elsa has come a very long way with quirks since being rescued from the puppy mill, posing for pics has never been her jam. As for greens, we’re expecting a big snow storm…so I will need to get the mittens and anorak out again-no one will be able to see if any of us are wearing green. Aww, what a lovely thing Angel Lexi continues to gift your home. 😍
Yes, sometimes I think she comes to Xena in dreams.
I am looking forward to March 17. Have a great rest of the week you too.
Here’s hoping it’s all you’re hoping for…minus the whiny snakes. 😆
Of the four Irish Setter we had, only one would wear a hat long enough for me to get a photo. I like the cartoon.
Glad you enjoyed the cartoon. It made me snort coffee out of my nose and reminded me when the kids were little and we went to Grandma’s house. They used to say the exact same things. 🐍 😆
We were those kids 😉
Great toon, Monika. 😁
Thanks, John. Considering this is St. Patrick’s Day week, it seemed like a good smile to share. Hope your Monday has been ‘wagnificent.’
It has been a super day. Thank you, Monika
Mom and I have saved that very cartoon for several years! We LOVE it. I told Mom that even in her best cream will she get a hat on me unless she glues it on.

You’re rigbht-it’s definitely safe-worthy. It sure tickled my funny bone. Have a great week!
Enjoy your week!
Thank you-hope you have a pawtastic week yourself!
😀 Ha, love it!
It sure cracked me up. Happy Monday.
thank you for the laugh this morning!
Our pleasure. Here’s wishing you a week full of smiles.
But certainly Elsa doesn’t want Wilson to steal the show does she? Hopefully she will let you put at least one hat on her. 🙂
LOL at the comic. I wouldn’t want to drive those snakes either!
Happy Monday!
Well certainly not the whiny ones! 🤣
Haha!! Right!
I love the ‘toon – poor St. Pat…….yep – he looks a bit like he can’t wait for the first rest stop so he can dump that crowd out on the side of the road and continue on to the nearest pub for a brewski.
Pam
When my kids were little and we did road trips, there were certain rules that they learned to never break…I think all of them in that cartoon were on that list! Hahahaha. Happy Monday. ☘️
MOL…Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day🐾😽🍀
Thanks, Peachy & Stippie. Here’s to a very good week full of shamrocks and good fortune. ☘️
Cute cartoon. A giggle on Monday is always welcome. Heck, a giggle anyday is welcome!
Hurrah…glad we could provide a chuckle. Have a blarney good Monday.
Cracking fun?,
At least for Wilson, Elsa…not so much. ☘️ Happy Monday.
Mew mew mew….
HAHAHAA!!
A funny comick Miss Monika~~THANX!
***purrss*** BellaDharma an **giggellss** BellaSita Mum
So glad you enjoyed it. Happy Monday!
Thanx Miss Monika an Elsa an Wilson <3 <3 <3
Bwahahahahahahaha. Like having kids in the backseat. I so remember.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays as always.
Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. Scritches to the pups. ♥
Exactly! I can just hear the rabble going on and when my kids were small I owned a MG Midget so the noise could sometimes be deafening. Happy Monday, Sandee and as always I appreciate your adding us to your link.
Good luck with the Ninja. My girls are so food motivated I’m pretty sure they’d let me put a coat of armor draped in multiple layers of cloths for a single biscuit. Have a green week (versus white) at the ranch.
{snicker} I can just see a coat of armour on them! Elsa is not a fan of dress up let alone getting pics taken. Most of the time she trots over to her bed…which she considers a safe place and untouchable by pestering Moms. Happy Monday, Mike. It’ll be lovely today and tomorrow and then a big storm is supposed to roll in Wednesday night. Snow depths could be deep. We’ll see.
Mother Nature adopts a wicked sense of humor this time of year! Enjoy what you can and hunker down and be safe for the rest.
Springtime in the Rockies can be quite the adventure. 😉
We all dress up whenever and we don’t even get treats for our efforts. It is not bad and it makes our mom happy.
Elsa has always been reluctant with dress up. You guys could definitely show her a few tips since you always have the best dress up pics. Happy Monday.
Haha! Poor Elsa 😉
Hmmm… I don’t get into the whole St. Paddy’s Day thing, to be honest. But since I’ll have a visitor, maybe we’ll make an exception!
It’s silly for sure, but fun. I was actually surprised to learn Denver has one of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day parades in the country. Go figure. ☘️ Enjoy your visitor.
Fun for sure.
I don’t love parades, to be honest. I just checked and Montreal’s is the 199th. Go figure.
Maybe we’ll go. I think Marc is like me…
Denver’s is the largest west of the Mississippi but I’m with you. Parades seem like clowns…creepy. And WAAAAAAY too many people anyway (and most of whom are stupid drunk). Better to sit in the back garden with a green beer or other suitable beverage. Give him our regards! ☘️
Yeah. St.Patrick’s especially. Much better to sit in a sunny garden (though the temps for the time he will be here? Not good. Sigh)
And will do! 🍀
Well, there are ‘other’ things you two can ‘enjoy’ in place of being outdoors. 😉
Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh….😊
I’m the pee snake… LOL
Hahahaha! 🐍 There’s always one on a road trip.
Tell Elsa she is Grace O’Malley, the Irish pirate queen…you might just get round her with that….
Ha! I tried subterfuge on her once again. She reminded me not to try it ever again…or suffer the consequences. When I told her everyone is Irish this week, she reminded poodles came from Germany, not Ireland. Can’t get anything past that girl! Happy O’Monday.
