Some days I swear, I should have named “him” Hoover…or Dyson as crumbs on the floor are not safe. We hope all your food groups are met today. Stay happy, stay healthy and make it a great day (and week). Happy Monday.

So very true. Dog dining is a flexible.
Flexible! Hahaha, that’s an understatement. Thanks for making me smile with your comment.
Years ago my mom called our then pups her inspector/vacuum cleaner….we had a Eureka back then. I have a Dyson, too…
Maybe we need Wilson to come here and teach us about the skill of vacuuming, then we can charge for our services
I’m sure Wilson would scoop up all the ‘training materials’ before you guys figured out what you needed to do. 🤣
I stopped by the lab today. The ladies there are looking forward to meeting Wilson.
Thanks, Amy. I’ll add them to our regulars list before we do our scheduled floor.
Furabuluss comick Wilson an Miss Monika!!!
Mee has been called “Hoovur” on occasion ‘casue mee checkss floor an area rug fore crummss an foodss!
~~~head rubss~~~BellaDharma~~~ an ((hugss)) BellaSita Mum
Glad you enjoyed the Monday smile. Being called Hoover isn’t the worst name. 🤣
Haha, with Chester it is “the snoot.” He sticks it up into whatever we are eating and I swear it grows about 6 inches. He’s not really particular what he eats but he seems to be checking it out.
Dogs usually process their world through their noses but like a 2 year old toddler, everything seems to end up in Wilson’s mouth. Oy vey!
… or Bissell ?
Hahaha. YES!!! Love it.
I think all animals think of the four basic food groups like this……but since Ted has no way to get on our counters we can at least know “things” are safe up there!
Hugs, Pam
I know what you mean. Wilson’s bulk is the one thing that works in my favor! Hugs and tail wiggles.
Bahahahaha!
Who needs a vacuum cleaner when you have the handsome boy around?
And he’s totally energy efficient! Hahaha. Happy Monday, Marc.
And did I mention handsome? And adorable? And charming? And huggable? And . . .
You say that only because you don’t have to mop the floors after he’s licked up any crumbs. LOL But I’m right there with you…he had me at adorable. And did I mention he has eyelashes that go on forever. I’m a total sucker for those eyes!
I do! LOL
I bet he did. How could you not fall in love?
He’s the real deal.
Yup, my foster fail totally seduced my heart. It only took 10 miles down I-70 from Missouri and I knew I wasn’t letting him go anywhere but a permanent home at the Ranch.
That is funny. 🙂
Thanks, glad you enjoyed today’s smile. Happy Monday!
That’s really good! Now we know your full name Wilson Hoover Dyson!
Glad you enjoyed today’s smile. Yup, we probably need to update his name on the rabies certificate! LOL Happy Monday.
Oh my! LOL! I had to laugh at the name Dyson. I have a Dyson vaccum. 🙂 Happy Monday!
If you had Wilson, you’d have no need for a vacuum! Course, you’d be mopping the slobber up daily. LOL
🤣🤣
It’s good that he is soo handsome and sweet, right?😉
He’s lucky he can skate on his good looks. LOL
Haha! 😄
Those noses know how to find stuff! Have a good week.
So true…and his is like a geiger counter around crumbs! Happy Monday. 🤣
Cats can be like that too but not my current ones. I had a cat a while back that sat next to my husband when he ate dinner. He scarfed up every morsel before it hit the floor.
Pets can be such opportunists! 🤣 Happy Monday.
So funny! Dyson is a good name for a big dog, who is hoovering around the house.
It definitely describes Wilson to a tee! Happy Monday.
We have a Dyson here as well. There is no 3 second rule on dropped stuff cause Tempeste has it in two.
Ha…if it ain’t picked up within a nano-second, it gets swallowed! Happy Monday, John.
Sounds about right….Sunny has become quite the “Hoover” too. Thank goodness she can’t reach the counter!
Giggle…she a girl after Wilson’s heart. Happy Monday.
And on your hand or foot or clothes…although my pups know and obey the “Leave it” command.
Wilson is getting better with ‘leave it’ but it’s usually reserved for our encounters with squirrels. 😉 Happy Monday.
Java Bean: “Ayyy, don’t forget stuff on the counter and stuff on the table, if you can reach it!”
Shhhhhhh…he doesn’t need any ‘helpful’ suggestions, Java Bean! Happy Monday.
Ha, Dyson would suit quite well, Hoover doesn’t have the same panache. 😀
LOL, Wilson isn’t exactly a panache kind of dog. Happy Monday.
my lab was superior at all dropped food, plus garbage can retrieval, shoe destruction, and found food on walks. She was my fine diner and when she died we realized how handy it was to drop food and never have to clean it up. LeeAnna
Oh gosh, that’s too funny. Labs have a reputation for being ‘foodies.’ Hope you have a great week. Happy Monday.
So very true. It was the same way with our Angel Little Bit. Perfect. You made me smile and laugh out loud.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a fabulous day and week. A hug to you and lots of scritches to Wilson. ♥
Always grateful when we can make you smile. Thanks for adding us to your Monday link. Hugs from me and tail wiggles from Wilson.
Good one. We just eat things that fall on the floor with some occasional counter surfing by Olivia mainly. Have a Grand week!
Glad you liked today’s smile. Luckily we haven’t experienced any counter surfing. Years of having standard poodles got me in the habit of keeping food pushed waaaay back on the counter and so far, Wilson hasn’t displayed any interest with stuff on the counters. But if there’s a tiny crumb on the floor, Wilson will make sure it gets licked up. Happy Monday.
stuff in the laundry is like a treasure hunt… da nelly once ate a cent coin :o)
Oh my heavens! At least so far, the laundry hasn’t enticed Wilson to go diving. Yet. If there are crumbs around, they get swept up by the giant sweeper tongue. If only he’d dust. LOL Happy Monday.
Sounds about right. The nice thing is they aren’t too picky about which group, so long as each is plentiful. This is a basic lesson my sweet Kali, Kloe and Koda ‘s Sissy Mama, taught them at an early age.
Wishing you and Wilson a food grouped week at the Ranch.
Thanks, Michael. Wilson (aka Hoover) has never met a crumb he didn’t like. LOL Have a great Monday and an even better week.
I like “Hoover.” We had to be very careful with the one male dog we had. He was big enough to scoop things off the kitchen table.
Hoover is not only descriptive, it fits his personality. I should be grateful he hasn’t displayed counter surfing behavior. Yet. 🙂 Happy Monday.
Same with Gracie, except add crumbs under chairs, a specialty of hers, especially since she’s small enough to stretch and get under chairs and couches.
Wilson says that’s just not fair; Gracie has an advantage over him. Happy Monday.
Pretty accurate, I’d say.
It’s so spot on in Wilson’s case…except he hasn’t started with the laundry. Yet. Thank heavens. My last hollow legged sheep dog ate a silicon dog food lid requiring a trip to doggie ER and a big dent in my bank account. 😆 Lesson learned that day. Happy Monday.
Such a lovely header….those blues!
Hoover? All I can say is just don’t try roasting a chicken in this house……the latest arrival – Ears – regards it as a stalking opportunity….
You’re too kind, Helen. Thank you. It’s a real toss up as to what’s worse…crumbs on the floor or lick marks from where he ‘hoovers’ them up. 🤣 Hope it’s been a great Monday.
