We hope you had a wonderful weekend making preparations for Santa Paw’s arrival. Sam here, mom finally got her tush in gear and is mostly caught up. Are you ready for that big guy in red to show up? I’m gonna try out for a position with his reindeer. Think I have a chance?

  1. Precious little guy! I went to get a tree today and they had all run out at the lot I usually go to!! How is it possible?? Trying again tomorrow. Ottie used to help me decorate it but this year it’s Portia’s turn, even if her job, so far, has been to break one single ornament every year for the past 9 years she has been with us. god help us.

  10. Sand Spring Chesapeakes – Cambria, WI – My husband and I have six "furry" children Gambler, Glory, Guilty, Slammer, Gertie and one cat Bones and two furangel's Norman and Nellie. We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.

      1. Ours is not as plentiful as I would like. Though it was nuts. I went into a store, there were 2-3 flakes… I shopped around, was there for a total of maybe 20 minutes, came out and it was a quasi-blizzard! Lasted all of 5 minutes, but still.

  15. Yup, definitely reindeer potential but the red nose required of a Rudolph may be a bridge too far for Sammy. He’d fit right in with Santa’s crew. Dasher, Dancer, Sammy, Blixen, Manny, Moe, Jack and the Olsen Twins…or whatever that list of reindeer names is.
