Memes

We hope you had a pawsome weekend. This meme pretty much describes everyday life when you own a dog made even more applicable at this hectic time of year. Here’s to a week of neglecting one’s appearance in favor of spending time with Knuckleheads.

Live, love, bark! 🐾

  1. SO true! I used to be an obsessive cleaner, and everything in the house, and about myself, had to be “just so”. That all gradually changed when I got dogs, and went completely awry when we got our chickens! LOL

  2. Oh, so true!!! And don’t forgets washing the slobber off the walls….and your hair. I likes to spread it around! heheheheheeeee
you guys are just too funnies!
    Kisses,

    1. Funny how they just wonder what you’re doing and then leave. That part always makes me wonder if they think “oh good, she’s busy…let’s get into trouble!”

  3. And for some of them (like the jerk who stole a pick up after your dog sign) I almost wish it’d flown out of a wave. 👿

  4. This is hilarious… our first family pet was a mighty Mini Dachshund, Toto. We adopted him when our daughter was 3. Never peeing by myself oh you surely heard me giggle. If I closed the bathroom door they sat at the door, Toto whimpering alternately with sticking his paw under the door and my daughter asking “Mommy are you ever coming out?”

    1. I can just picture those little paws reaching under a door beaconing mom to come back into view.

    1. Absolutely! A home is not a real home without drool marks or paw prints tracked across the flooring. 😂

    1. Around my house those are lovingly referred to as nose art by master artists. Bwahahaha!

  5. For cats too! The only time I go to the bathroom unaccompanied is during their post meal nap. Otherwise it’s an escort or if I actually close the door (how dare I?) there is a paw or two under it trying to open.

  6. I think the thugs are training us…anything not put in the washing basket is collared by Scruffy and made into little heap on the floor in the kitchen so that she can use it as a bed, completely ignoring her own bed.

    1. One of my Old English Sheepdogs used to do a similar thing by taking soiled sweaters out of the basket destined for the dry cleaners and sleep on them. Despite having a bed in early room. Guess he liked the scent of me more than himself. 🤣

      1. Scruffy can only reach them if they are on the edge rather thanpushed right down inside – or if Higher Authority has missed the basket when throwing stuff towards it, but one she has her prey she is happy as a sandboy.

  7. I love these. My dogs are convinced there is a back door in the bathroom through which I might disappear forever if they didn’t keep watch.

    1. If one is able to shut the door for a moment of privacy, there’s that loud sniffing under the door that makes you hurry up like crazy, lest it evolves into full on whining or worse, barking.

    1. We always like to begin every day with a smile and are pleased you like this one. Happy Monday!

    1. 🍻Today, tomorrow, indeed as long as a dog muddies my floors. Cheers for a happy Monday.
