As we quickly move toward the food and sweets time of year, our old Indian Hills pal, Vince Rozmiarek posted this sign. It struck me as fitting for this holiday season, where over indulging seems to the norm. Are you ‘thick and tired’ this holiday season or have you maintained?

Live, love, bark! 🐾
Hahaha!!
Love that!
Thanks…it sure hit us…right in the waistline! 🤣
Hahaha!
Very cheeky and clever.
That Vince…he’s a real hoot and does puns well. Here’s hoping you’re fairly ready for Santa.
Mostly fairly
Lulu: “We’re all maintaining here! On account of Dada insists on weighing our food every meal. He just doesn’t get into the spirit of the holidays …”
Awk…don’t tell my Mom-she’s always monitoring my weight to make sure I don’t add any weight to stress my arthritic hips. I still like to enjoy a decent meal as much as the next dog.
LOL 😂🤣😂
Aww, come on…you know it’s accurate! 😂
Good smiles for Monday during the holiday season. Cheers!
Thanks, Frank. It seemed especially fitting this week. Here’s wishing you a furbulous last week before Christmas.
Yep, he just described me with the sign. Hubby and I are going back on our Gundry diet the first of 2024. No, really. 🙂
I am aware of that promise as well. 😉
I have not yet begun to fat.
Good for you. I was going to say I have not yet begun to fast…😆 But I’ll probably have to start thinking about it.
Oh, I generally add an inch or two for ‘insulation purposes’ in the fall… it generally comes off in the spring when I start gardening again. Meanwhile, let nothing get between me and the treats! 😉
Amen, sistah!
🙂
The thugs are planning to be thick and I know I’ll be tired!
We’ll likely be a bit of both. Here’s hoping the last week before Christmas goes smoothly for you. Happy Monday.
that about sums it up!
No kidding! Happy last week before Christmas.
Here as well much to my dismay. 😳
It was always…”I’ll resume eating better after the Holidays.” However, as I’ve gotten older the extra pounds aren’t as easy to melt away…so for the last few years it has been…”I’ll eat better for most of the Holidays.” (“most” is a relative term lol…) Happy Monday, Monika!
Haha… boy can I relate to the term…relative. 🤣
Happy Monday, Bruce!
Mew mew mew mew……
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Purrfection Elsa an Miss Monika!
~~~head rubss~~~BellaDharma~~~ an (((huggiess))) BellaSita Mum
Thanks. It sure pointed a chubby finger at us! 🤣
Thanks. We couldn’t find anything better for this time of year more true!
LOL…I agree!!
It was as if someone was sneaking peeks at us!
The only critters in this house with a weight problem are my two cats Sasha and Gus. The peeps and the other two cats can control themselves!
There’s always at least one, isn’t there? 😂
Or two!
🤣
So far so good but The Girls are insisting what’s good enough for Santa is good enough for them. Have a good runway into the Holiday!
Dogs get it. Now if only us peeps would. Happy last week before Santa Paws arrives.
That’s cute.
Thanks, Vince is legendary around the Denver area-his Indian Hills signs greet locals and visitors and always put a smile on their face. Have a terrific Monday!
We are all fit, but we love our snacks. Working out is fun and we do a lot of it so we can eat more. Mom misses eating all the holiday goodies but now that she has cut out pretty much everything called food, no more sweets. She was always thin and fit but her health issues scared her into eating only whole foods, vegan, and no sugar or processed foods. Can you say lettuce? Better her than us! Have a great week!
Your mom is smart-sugar is not a wholesome food. I wish I was better at rejecting it. Wishing you guys a wagnificent week!
I have no doubt I will be thick by the time the holiday winds down – all this food – I’ll definitely be THICK!
Hugs, Pam
{snicker} it’s almost a given this time of year. Happy Monday!
Haha! Love their signs. I’m just thick and tired of so many things that I will just enjoy life and balance 😉
Bwahahaha! The older I get, the thick and tired becomes an hourly mantra. 😆
Hahahaha! Tell me about it!!!
Hope you and Elsa are getting ready for a fabulous lead up to Christmas!
We’re running double time on the Christmas hamster wheel. 🤣 Best wishes to you and your sweet fur-babies!
Haha! Yes, a fitting sign. So far I have maintained. Waiting for my peppermint bark, then there may be a problem. 🙂
You know me…I love a good pun and thought this one was perfect for the season.
Yes, you do! 😅
I’ve maintained. We will have a fattening dinner for Christmas, but then back to the regular diet.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays as always.
Have a fabulous day and week. A big hug to you and lots of scritches to Elsa. ♥
January may need to be very lean around the Ranch, too! Enjoy the season. And thank you for including us in your Monday blog hop. You’re always so kind and gracious and we appreciate it. Hugs and tail wags❣️
🤣👍
Happy Monday, Paul!
Same to you 😁
