Live, love, bark! 🐾
Charlee: “See, Dada? It’s not just us cats who do that.”
Mew mew mew wee Catss an Poochiess ae jsut liek that Miss Monika!!!
***purrss*** BellaDharma an **giggellss** BellaSita Mum
If you have to puke, you might as well have a comfy spot to do it on, BOL!!
That must be the reasoning behind the universal rule.
Too funny! 😂😂 Happy Monday!
My cats could sing that too. 🙂
There are days when I wish we didn’t have any carpet!
It’s a real conundrum, for sure.
Dogs and cats seem drawn to the carpet.
MOL!!!
Glad we could put a smile on your face. It seems universal…both cats and dogs do it! Happy Monday.
I love the tune and the new lyrics. For the life of me, I can’t understand why dogs head for the carpet instead of the tile. Thanks for the smile, Monika.
It’s guaranteed. And judging by the comments, universal with cats and dogs. Happy Monday.
Soooooo true! LOL
It’s clearly a hard rule for both dogs AND cats.
We like to throw up on the carpet right next to the hardwood flooring and watch Mom go nuts, LOL! Great cartoon!
Thanks-glad you enjoyed the smile. It has be some sort of evolutionary/universal thing with dogs and cats-and it happens without fail.
Bwahahahahahahaha. So true and this applies to cats as well.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. A big hug to you and lots of scritches to the pups. ♥
It makes paw-fect sense our feline friends are right there with the dogs. Happy Monday. And thank you for hooking us up to your hop.
omg so true, still laughing. It’s not funny on the rug tho, I would rush over try to insert a newspaper and the dog would move not to hit the paper! Then the leftover red circle on the rug after cleaning… oy…
I know, right! I have a few of those ‘circles’ too and at 2 AM the last thing you want to do is drag out a carpet cleaner then to clean the entire rug.
I think the funniest thing about this meme is that the audience is all cats!
And judging from the comments, it happens just as frequently and reliably as it does with dogs. 😉
Unfortunately very true words or lyrics as the case may be. Laughing through my gritted teeth. 😬. I hope everyone is on the mend at the ranch. Have a good week!
Oh so true, Mike. And the sound will wake me up like nothing else! Sadly the infirmary is still ongoing for Elsa. I’m about 95%. Here’s hoping your week has loads more smiles, especially the kind that don’t involve gritted teeth.
Yes the sound! Sending healing thoughts to Elsa. I know she has the best nursemaid and caregiver in you!
You want to see world record sprinting? My reaction to the first sounds of a dog throwing up.
Oh yes! You could be dead asleep and there’s nothing that can wake a pet parent up quicker! Around the Ranch, it’s practically a Guiness World record then! Happy Monday.
Oh yes – I join the crowd of pet Moms who have done this – when the heaving starts, the forced leaving begins (hahahaha).
Hugs, Pam
As I’ve gotten older I obviously have slowed down but I can turn into an Olympic athlete whenever I hear that urping sound in a New York minute! Happy Monday.
So true! Cats and dogs both.
And parents of both critters turn into a speed skater trying to mitigate the scene, no matter how slow they are. 😆
They say the best humor has a kernel of truth. This has a truckload!
Aww, you’re too kind, Jacqui. Thank you. It’s definitely a universal rule around the Ranch.
And I thought that was a cat thing!
Oh no…dogs are masters of glancing around and running over to the carpet. In a hot second, too!
🙂 Cats do it well. They will start gagging on hardwood floors and quickly scoot over to a carpet, the harder to clean the better! Gotta love them anyway.
Absolutely. A small price to pay for all they give us.
da nelly agrees… and da phenny prefers the stairs.. its his pukiara falls….
Oh man…that’s like a double whammy. Here’s hoping your Monday is totally without pukiara.
I think that is a motto for house pets. Have a good week.
It definitely seems to be their theme song. Have a super Monday, Frank.
That is the Truth for both dogs and cats 🤣
Yup…it is definitely universal! Happy Monday.
Hahahaha! I swear they do! Cats too, by the way…
Happy Monday!
Absolutely. It never fails with whichever pet. Happy Monday.
How many times have I grabbed the heaving cat and practically thrown her on the rugless part of the floor! And thank you 🙂
And inexplicably they become nearly immovable whenever it happens. LOL
No kidding!
Oh how apt! How perfectly apt this hit song is!!!
Thanks, Carole. I’ll always hum that tune now whenever it happens around the Ranch. It’ll make clean up a bit easier to stomach. Here’s to a great Monday.
