You had a seizure Elsa? Mom gets them occasionally too. Stress is a biggie for those. Live long and Prosper is what your sign off said to me. I don’t read properly. Perhaps I need glasses.
Your selfie was wonderful. You looked liked an actress in your sunglasses.
Yeah, I’m an epileptic-warrior. We know about the impact of stress and this grooming was extra stressful. I’m better though today. Hope your mama doesn’t suffer often from seizures. We work hard to eat properly and keep stress low. I like your idea of ‘Live Long and Prosper.‘ It’s pawsome advice! π
I had a seizure so mom is keeping me calm for a while (there was a dog who was waiting to be picked up at the spa whose high pitch bark never stopped for 45 minutes. Really stressed me out but I’m better today.
Many thanks, Dorothy. Elsa’s spa treatment went awry as the stress from another dog how could not be consoled while it was waiting to e picked up must have affected her and she had a tiny seizure that we were able to stem in about 5-6 minutes (her shortest one yet). Thank you for sharing the occipital pressure technique (I think I picked that up from you). I’m convinced utilizing it made all the difference in the world on this latest episode. We love your website and radio program and have learned soooo much from you and Gibson. Thank you again! π
Aww, you’re too kind. The stress caused me to have a teeny tiny seizure (smallest one to date) but I’m resting comfortably now. Mom can’t stop petting my velvety fur.
Your fur-iend,
Elsa πΎ
Elsa, you look so cool! You look also that you have washed your new perm for the first timeπ.
Have a great weekend!
Kosmo,
a cat in faraway Finland.
Hopefully my mama will showcase me before she leaves on vacation this week. I’ll pester her and tell her my fans expect no less. Happy weekend, Kosmo. π
Glad the grooming went well and she is all soft, pretty, and smelling good. It’s great that they seem to forgive and forget when we make them do things they aren’t thrilled about.
You look too cool to ever drool Elsa! ;p
We bet you will look pretty amazing after your trip to the groomer’s. Wilhelmina always does . . . that is for about five seconds until she finds water or a mud puddle on her daily adventures ;p
Poor thing…she handled it as well as she’s able but yesterday’s visit was not a treat for her. She was super thrilled to be at home though, racing around the house tossing and squeaking a favorite toy to remind her all is well now. π
There will definitely be loads of treats for this groom job. Her fur is like a bear this time and waay too thick for me to handle. I feel sorry for the groomer.
Kissy’s hair was really thick, too, when she was young. But, as she aged and it thinned out, I was able to do her grooming myself…just as well, since she became a bit stressed when the groomer came to the house in her mobile “shop”. She was fine for me, though.
I’ve been cleaning her up in between sessions but with two of them it gets a bit pricey. I decided to treat myself. Luckily our professional groomer allows me to stay with Elsa in case she has seizure. That helps alleviate my stress level as much as hers. π
We are having an Indian Summer. It’s supposed to be Autumn (Fall) but Mother Nature does not seem to have gotten the message and it’s still 35 – 38c. Anyway, Elsa the Ninja looks good – she even makes the shades look good. I wish Benji would still long enough for me to take that kind of photograph ( There you go, Sam! He’s not perfect!!!)
I’m dreaming of spring too but more like a spring storm to get rid of the dust that has been blowing around. π Let’s hope we both have our dreams fulfilled. Happy weekend.
Super cool shades.
We like to keep up our hipster rap. π

Elsa, you should party after you get your grooming too! Happy weekend to all of you!

Can we party with you, Elsa?!?! We bet you know how to have a good time!
In ways you can’t even imagine! π€£
You rock, Elsa! Looking very cool! We are with you…so glad it is the weekend!

We can’t wait to see you “after” shot, we don’t see how you could look any cooler!

Pawty on, Elsa!
It’s always a pawty with this girl!
Elsa, you look so cool! You look also that you have washed your new perm for the first timeπ.

Not when mom took that photo. Wait till you see me now-I look live black velvet with a skinny nose. π
Your fur-iend,
ElsaπΎ
Elsa, I am waiting to see you now.
Kosmo
Hopefully my mama will showcase me before she leaves on vacation this week. I’ll pester her and tell her my fans expect no less. Happy weekend, Kosmo. π
Thank you Elsa, have a nice weekend too.
You could say to mama that I am your admirer.
Kosmo,

Good idea. She seems very easy to manipulate after compliments like that. LOL
Glad the grooming went well and she is all soft, pretty, and smelling good. It’s great that they seem to forgive and forget when we make them do things they aren’t thrilled about.
Grooming is particularly hard on Elsa. I doubt she’ll ever really get over her fears but we’re patient with her to make it as stressless as possible.
Poor baby. At least it sounds like the trauma was over once she got home.
She’s resilient and treats with loads of attention make all the difference. And an extended dash chasing a squirrel down the alley π¬
Bonus chases are great!!!
That girl has a set of wheels and drives the Akita next door nuts. I love it when she gives him the what for!
We are supposed to rain all weekend so it will be an indoor weekend for us
hugs
Hazel & Mabel
Oooh, rain would be nice even if wet. It’s been so long, I’m not sure what a spring rain feels like.
Happy weekend.
Woos – Lightning, Misty,and Timber
Happy weekend to you guys π

the critters in the cottage xo
She’s like black velvet, all soft and pretty. And smells amazing!
So in other words, Elsa is letting her hair hang down π
3 bum swings! 3 more!π
Have a wagnificient weekend my furiends.
Nose nudges,
CEO Olivia
Thatβs about the size of it! π€£
Can’t wait for the “after” photos! Stay strong Elsa and make sure you get all the promised goodies.
Poor thing…she handled it as well as she’s able but yesterday’s visit was not a treat for her. She was super thrilled to be at home though, racing around the house tossing and squeaking a favorite toy to remind her all is well now. π
Enjoy all that beautiful fur while you can Elsa! Can’t wait to see your new look.
There was enough to make another dog!
You look so cool Elsa!
Thanks, it’s a Ninja thing.
LOL!
Poodles wear neck scarves with aplomb.
They sure know how to rock fashion accessories, don’t they?
π¬
Oh Elsa, you’re in for a treat! Not. But if you play your cards right, maybe you can con some extra rewards out of your Mom afterwards. π

That’s a good thing! β€οΈ
I’m ever grateful they accommodate both of us. π
By the look of those red eyes, she already partied on Thursday night.
Every day is a ‘paw-ty’ for this girl.
Elsaβs Mom is so cool she needs to wear shades! π
More likely able to spend time fiddling with LunaPic than cool. LOL Happy weekend!
Good luck on the grooming. Er, I mean good luck to Monika, not Elsa.:) Remember, Elsa, Ninjas have to be sleeeeek.
I’m hiring out this time. Her fur is like a bear and much too thick for me to try and handle. π
Looking forward to a weekend of preparing for family to come visit. NOT. LOL. Love my family, just don’t love cleaning the house. XD
No one likes cleaning the house but think of the payoff when the family is there. Enjoy their visit! π
So true! π
I agree. Let the weekend begin.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your peeps. β₯
Have a furbulous weekend!

Luckily there’s PhotoShop for adding glasses on wiggly pups and Ninjas. π
Yay yay for the weekend!
Amen!
I bet you will look furtabulous after your grroming appointment… have a super weekend!!!!
We can only hope. She’s such a Muppet now-happy weekend.
To borrow from Will Smith . .
Elsa makes those shades look goood!
She’s a pretty hip Ninja if I do say so myself even if she has no idea of the full spa treatment awaiting her. {Chortle}
Haha!
Lucky girl . . I wish I had a surprise spa treatment, lol.
You’ve never bathed a Standard Poodle, have you? There’s nothing fun about that…for the bather or the bathee.
I’m speaking of the spa I am envisioning. Where I would get to luxuriate in just sitting still . . bliss.
Stillness. Always a good thing.
Yee-haw yes! The Poodle and I just came in from a lovely walk. A bit longer than usual this morning in anticipation of SNOW tomorrow. Dreaming of spring….π©π¬
I’m dreaming of spring too but more like a spring storm to get rid of the dust that has been blowing around. π Let’s hope we both have our dreams fulfilled. Happy weekend.
