Gosh Sam, I’ve been away from the blog this week and I return to see this picture! I’m so glad it wasn’t from an accident. We know all about waiting around for dumb stitches to be removed, and are glad that you’ve been feeling better. The scar will make you look like a tough dude, and will probably make you a chick magnet!
He’s got his paws crossed about that. Hope things are getting better on your end.
Poor Sam. That does look painful. I think you deserve all of the sympathy you can garner from those puppy eyes. Tippy and I send you lots of wags and kisses.

No scratching here. Just a lot of pathetic glances hoping for oodles of sympathy. I’m becoming a pro at it, at least that’s what mom says. No doubt you’ll be out of your cone and your mum will give you real ice cream as a reward for enduring such treachery.

I thought he might paw at it but he’s been exceptionally good. Luckily the vet didn’t indicate that a cone wouldn’t be necessary.
