After posing in front of this neighbor’s blow-up Santa Paws a few days earlier, Sam was somewhat confused when we passed by it over the weekend and it was deflated. He kept sniffing around to see what happened. Maybe he’s worried there may not be presents for him and the Ninja. It took some reassuring but I think he’s okay now. Elsa on the other hand was thrilled as the man in the red suit freaked her out.
Hope yours was a fun-filled weekend. We’re off to visit patients again the next few days so I’ll probably be late with comments. Have a good week!
Live, love, bark! 🐾

Santa Paws down for the count Elsa😉
💜nose nudges 💜
Rot-ohhhh…I think Santa had a bit too much spiked egg nog! BOL! Coincidentally, my daughter just noticed tonight that our neighbor’s inflatable snowman may have had too much egg nog, too!
It’s weird too because not many people see them blown up at night unless they’re driving around. And they’re almost always flat during the day when you can see them.
Thank you for including our link with this fine group❣️
Quick, get Santa some milk and cookies, ’cause that is sure to revive him! Or if that doesn’t work then maybe a doggie bone! Tee hee hee. Winks.
We’ll try them all! 😊
Hmmm … Elsa was scared of the Santa and now it’s kaput. I know she didn’t do it … but she might have mind-bending powers!
You just never can tell with those Ninjas. 😇
Santa Paws was simply taking a breather . . .
…Santa Pause…..I know…give it a rest…
Well, that is certainly confusing!! 🙂
A blow up Santa? What a rip off. I want the real thing or nothing. We’d give the blow up guy something that would deflat him quickly like several claws.
Love that idea. Pssssstttt.
Poor Santa…enjoy your visits!
I’m with Elsa, I’m not a fan of those blow-up thingies…
There’s nothing magical about them. They always look tacky.
I could not agree more. Fugly is what I call ’em.
Since yard inflatables usually spend more time in the state of that poor Santa, they really do more harm than good to the idea of decorating for the holidays. I love the photo I took of a yard last year that had inflatables all over the place… only it was 9 in the morning and they were all lying limply on the ground and it looked more like a Christmas massacre had just happened…
I despise those hideous things and the noise they make. They look like trash blew in and collected in a pile during the day. I’m especially stunned when there’s more than one in a yard.
Sam! … What did you do to Santa?
Guess he’d better perform a little bit of therapy-STAT!
🙂 … If you are successful, extra treat!
Poor flat Santa! BOL!
He looked like he’d been run over by a truck.
It’s just another thing that needs deading.
I bet he is a little confused. Gambler would of peed on it.
Don’t worry, Santa Paws will be ready for Christmas Eve.
I’m sorry but that photo is hilarious!!!!
You should have seen the look of concern on his face. The dog is too much. 😊
Waiting for the dogs in Santa costumes post… :taps foot impatiently:
Yes, terribly confusing, I agree. The hubby worked from home all weekend and I cooked a lot. I start my new job tomorrow!
Congrats! 🎉 I’ve been thinking of you and glad to hear this news. All the best as you start a new chapter.
And it’s not at a lawyer’s, it’s at a synagogue!!
😊 I suspect you’ll be much happier there too.
That is too cute. Lightning is bothered by the noise the motors make. This year we haven’t seen any blowup ones on our street, but there is one gigantic Frosty. He is supposed to stand all the time, but the wind blew him over last night. Here’s hoping there are some human paws around to help him up.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Awww, so cute. This post made me smile.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your mom. ♥
Haha…it’s always funny seeing those inflatable decorations in “resting” mode!
Our neighbor had those inflatable displays a few years ago, and Ducky freaked-out every time she saw them. 🙄
They freak me out too!
Meow meow Sam an Elsa you both sure see sum funny thingss when you go fore walkiess!!! Mee iss sure you will get purresentss!!! Yore both guud poochiess!
Being a therapy dog, maybe Sam thought the poor guy needed his assistance. I’m sure he was very confused when you reassured him and walked on by. My weekend was a peaceful one….got a lot done on Saturday and just vegged on Sunday. We got more snow last night, so was able to take another walk in the winter wonderland this morning. Tippy is happy that I’m snowed in and can’t go to work today.
laying down on the job
You can bet Mrs. Paws was working herself to pieces.
It’s a terribly confusing season for my little furry guys–chubby men in red suits, trees in the house…
I can only imagine who disruptive life is for animals during the holidays. Which is a good justification for me to not decorate inside. 😊
Sam must have been sad to see Santa “windless”
Perhaps, but most likely just confused. 😊
that happens with inflated egos… at the end the air is out and the whole pomp lands on the ground ;o)))
Haha, I never thought about like that, but you’re absolutely right!
Poor deflated Santa! But I believe, too, that this will not affect Sam’s presents.
We had a quiet weekend here.
Have a great week,
Quiet weekends are wonderful especially at this time of year! Hope your week is as wonderful.
