Murphy's Law

Murphy’s Real Laws

1 – The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first.
2 – Flashlight: A case for holding dead batteries.

3 – The shin bone is a device for finding furniture.
4 – A fine is a tax for doing wrong. A tax is a fine for doing well.
5 – It was recently discovered that research causes cancer in rats.
6 – Everybody lies, but it doesn’t matter since nobody listens.
7 – I wished the buck stopped here, as I could use a few.
8 – I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it.
9 – You know things are bad when you dip into long ago drafts you forgot about so you don’t have to pull out what few hairs you have remaining from trying to craft a post from a cell phone.

We’re limping along without the laptop but hope it gets released from the ‘puter hospital soon. My patience is beginning to rival that number of remaining hair strands.

Live, love, bark! 🐾

  1. Thanks for the laughter! Keep that one strand of hair that is left! 🙂 I hope your laptop is WELL soon! Hang in there! Glad you are still keeping in touch with the phone, even if you feel like throwing the phone against the wall. LOL!

  2. You’re doing better than I would at posting from a cell phone, Monika! Norman had some funnies, fur sure. Have you looked on Amazon for a wig to cover those bald spots, LOL? Oh wait, you’d have to order from your cell phone!

  3. Ain’t that the truth?! I’ve been using my phone and/or iPad to write/post my blog posts for a long time…it can be extremely annoying and frustrating at times; but if I waited until I turned on my laptop, my last blog post would have been from 2015.

    1. You have my deepest admiration. I can’t imagine posting from the phone. Inserting images is a nightmare!

  4. Awwww…….those are great musings on this icky, rainy, sleety Monday. Spring disappeared and that is making us grumpy here. You cheered us up! Hope you get your computer back soon……I know that must be a pain in the tushie.

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy too

  5. eeek! good thing those pups have a sense of humor to keep you going. My hair is getting thin too… oy vey

    1. The older I get, the thinner my hair gets (from pulling out). I need to practice more deep breaths I think. LOL

  6. That list is awful real…
And didn’t your ‘puter just come back from the hospital? Damnation. I hope you get it soon!
    Happy Monday!

    1. Far realer than I’d prefer. But I’m back in business now. The catching up may take a while but it’s Mo(a)nday and understandable. 😉

      1. I feel ya. This whole actually working at my work has hindered my wasting my time reading blogs… now I am ridiculously behind. Again.

        1. I have every confidence you’ll be able to catch up. How’s the new job going? Well I hope.

          1. Hah! I’ve already lost control!
So far so good on the job front. I’m four days in and today is my day off – we work four days per week. I’m loving that part.

              1. Not even! This pilot project is for us to work 32 hours, but keep our 37.5 hour paycheque! They are trying to balance work and family life. How cool is that? I am hoping that peeps can get it done so that the project does not come to an end on October 31…
