I like the end of winter just fine. I celebrated by laying an egg.
While there have been (and will continue to be) more spring storms, Sunday’s official arrival makes us excited for garden color.
This has got to be outside of a school. It sure is a great statue!

Thank GOODNESS! The sculpture looks like the embodiment of Ring Around the Rosie. Do kids still play that these days?
Not unless there’s an online version. I can’t help but wonder if kids even go outside anymore!

Bwahahaha! Especially since winter decided to reappear today with a nice wet, slushy snow. Pompei could have benefitted from today’s weather.
I love that sculpture. Wow!! But I have to ask, have you looked at the weather forecast? I guess spring will come after these next couple of storms!
Yeah, I saw the 4-8” forecast. It is t spring without a few storms, right? We had snow as far along as early May the past 3 years. I love that things are starting to green up though. Stay warm and cozy the next couple of days.
It is in the air! YAY!
It seems that way and I for one am thrilled with that prospect!
Temps in the 60’s today, gorgeous…but I’m afraid to put away my winter clothes in case I jinx the arrival of spring! Great statue.
Yeah, I never put all of winter threads away until Memorial Day! We’ve had snow on Mother’s Day the past 3 years.
I hope you’re right, because every time we think Spring is here, we get dumped on with snow and cold again! 🙂
In this area, spring isn’t spring without a snowstorm or three. 😁 But at least we’re beginning to see subtle signs.

Free spirited kids. It’s a great image to keep handy when events begin to dampen the spirit. It’s still in all of us, young and old. Just need to let it shine once and a while. 🤟
Exactly! As I passed by this statute (which is at a home for children) I had to smile at the joy on the faces. When I still worked, I actually met someone who lived there until her family from Cuba could join her.
