After nearly a foot of white stuff fell a few days ago, it’s quite remarkable so much has already melted. What a feeling when you see beautiful emerald green grass emerging from all that white. Spring storms are simply fabulous for the urban landscape.
Wishing you a week filled with loads of sunbeam therapy. Happy Monday.
Live, love, bark! 🐾
We have a mix: some really needed rain and some sunshine.
Sounds like a win-win. 😊
Oh yea, that makes for a lot of happy!
A day without sunshine is…oh crap, only way to say it…sucks! Bring on the sun! 🌞
Makes me feel better about our cold mornings lately. No snow. Happy solstice day!
Being at a mile high in elevation, the snow is 99.99% melted. Yesterday and today were gorgeous days with crystal blue skies, with loads of sunshine. We love springtime in the Rockies, even when it snows. 😉
It’s good to love where you live. We do too.
Now that is what’s called living your best life.
You got that right! ☀️
uz catz sleepz like thiz two! gotta make sure each “side”
stayz toastee 🐟😺‼️
It’s important to tan…errr….snooze well balanced. 😉
We’ve had thunderstorms and lots of rain for a few days but now it is sunny. That is a very cute cartoon. Our pug Daisy loves sunbathing.
Sun puddles makes the day fun. Here’s hoping the week is full of sunshine and good times.
My cats do that too. 🙂
Nothing wrong with seeking some sunlight. Happy Monday.
Sorry, I thought the snow was great – but then when you are sweltering in a 45c heat, anything cool looks great. However, according to the news, we are slowly starting to get clear of summer and the temps. will be returning to normal soon, – down to the mid 20cs.
It’s all relative when you’re freezing or roasting in it, right? Hope things calm down soon for you and temps begin to level off. In the meantime, I’ll be sending good weather vibes your way. And yes, for the record, I was thrilled with all that snow (and hope we receive more over the next 6 weeks-we can always use the moisture).
That is so true. To see the green shoots of grass popping up between the white snow… Great part of a spring snowstorm.
So encouraging to be seeing green over the brown though I’m sure there’ll be some of that in the not too distant future. Enjoy your Monday.
No kidding. We had hail yesterday and a bit of snow (nothing stuck) today. Sigh. Crap e
Weather for my visitor!
Good thing the weather doesn’t matter for you or your visitor. Enjoy each other’s company and relish the time you’re able to spend together.
That we are!
Sunbeam therapy is just what the doctor ordered, Monika. We’ve got some clouds today, but every once in awhile the sun pops out just to make sure we didn’t forgot about it!🌞 It should once again be on full display again in short order. Have a great week!
I couldn’t agree more. Yesterday was a dreary day and I felt chilled every time I went outside despite the fact the snow was melting. Even if it’s cold, if it’s sunny, things just feel better. Today a perfectly clear blue sky and 58ºF glorious degrees would underscore that. Hopefully more moisture will fall again over the next 6 weeks. 🤞🏼 Have a super Monday.
You describe the beauty of spring very well, Monika.
You’re too kind, John.
Truthful. 😁
Snow an chilley an ucky heer….no Sunshine…just grey an gloomy an BellaSita an Seezuress….
Will it efurr bee Spring Elsa an Wilson an Miss Monika?

Sorry for your cloudy conditions and seizure. Hopefully the sun will return soon. Sending ‘pawsitive’ thoughts your way.
Today we have a mixture of ice pellets, snow, rain and even the sun peeped through a couple times. March is totally unpredictable!
That is a cute cartoon…so true, even for people!
March is the bully month on the calendar-it can be quite brutal. Luckily April follows and makes us forget what a nasty brat March can be. 😊 Hope your weather calms down a bit and you can enjoy some sunshine soon.
We missed the snow…but got lots of glorious rain this past weekend and everything is ready to bloom into Spring!
At least you didn’t need to shovel, right? Rain is good and so infrequent in the Rockies. Good for you. Happy Monday.
Wish we had gotten dumped on. It is so dry here, there is fire danger and every lawn is deader than dead. At least you have some green under the white. Enjoy the sunshine too.
So sorry you guys haven’t received have much of a snowy winter. I hope there will be a few more spring storms before the heat sets in. Here’s hoping your recovery is going well. Happy Monday.
Heard about your big storms, good thing that spring storms melt quickly.
We’re big proponents of sunbeam therapy here! 😻 🐶 🌞
The melting is in overdrive and lovely green has replaced all the brown. Yay. Happy Monday, happy sunbeams.
Pets love the sunshine through the windows … and they will even move as the sun moves. Have a good week, Monika.
Oh yes, it’s quite entertaining watching them move every hour or so. Here’s to a great Monday.
Love the cartoon – Teddy knows where to be at what time in our house to catch some rays too but he PREFERS being outside enjoying them. We don’t THINK (knock on wood) we will have any more snow events here……we may have some wild and weird weather but snow? JUST SAY NO!
Hugs, Pam
I don’t mind snow this time of year. It tends to provide a lot of moisture and leave quickly. All southern exposures have melted already. Here’s to loads of sunshine this week!
A good meltdown after a snow storm or series of storms is a welcome sight. Especially when spring is emerging both figuratively and physically. Glad you are enjoying the beauty of that! Last year at this time The Golden K still had feet worth of snow after that hard winter. This year thankfully was mild and much kinder. Wishing g and the ranch hands a great start to spring!
Thanks, Mike. Yes, spring storms are something else. Most of the snow on southern exposures is melted already and we should approach the high 50’s, low 60’s for most of the week. It’s nice seeing green instead of brown. Happy Monday.
Lulu: “Charging up the solar cells!”
That’s the spirit! Happy Monday, sweet girl.
We have sun today but still cool. Not had any snow at all this winter!!!
March and April are our snowiest months of the year so we’re keeping our paws crossed there’ll be more soon. At least it melts quickly which makes spring storms so welcome. Have a super Monday.
Thank you 😀
Snow in March is beautiful but doesn’t stay long. I love seeing animals nap in the sun.
I’m a huge fan of spring storms-they dump a bunch but melt quickly-in face most of the foot of snow that fell has melted. Happy sunshine Monday.
Yup! I’ve been amazed at how quickly a foot at our house is melting off! It’s a wonderful gift of water to a drought-prone west.
The quickness of melt has been something to behold. I’m looking forward to the next spring storm. 😉
I remember in France the dogs used to move round the floor with the sun…here it is a battle of precedence for use of the wet room!
Dogs are definitely no ordinary fools-they know where the best places are. Here’s hoping for only the best comes your way this week.
It snowed here yesterday and it’s snowing now. It’s going to be a cold day, but I am staying positive and hoping for some sunbeam therapy soon! 🧡🌷
We’ll keep our paws crossed for you. Have a sunshiney week!
Thank you. I’m sure it will help. xo
Glad the snow is gone and spring has peeked through. Love the funny. Sunpuddles are the very best.
Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. Scritches to the pups. ♥
They sure are, Sandee. Talk about a guaranteed way to feel good when it’s sunny. Happy Monday.
How did you get a cartoon of my dog blissing out in a sun puddle? 😉
Hahahaha, good one, Amy! The clear blue skies (after yesterday’s gloomy clouds) and warm temps are pure nirvana for pets and peeps alike. Enjoy!
Our weather got chilly again here, normal for mid-March, but the sun is out today and that helps ever so much.
Sunshine makes all the difference (even on cold days) and we’re so accustomed to it here-when it’s cloudy people are grumpy. Hope you have a super sunny week.
Love me some sunbeam therapy too!
Sunbeams makes everything better. Happy Monday.
