Update to Toxic Tuesday

A number of you indicated you were unable to open either of the two images that were included in today’s earlier post for which I apologize. After spending far more time than I thought possible trying to ‘fix’ that post and the images, unsuccessfully I might add, I thought I’d provide the links from where they were obtained so you could at least have the benefit of useable information (I sent emails to those of you for which I had contact info). The comprehensive and extensive list came from this site. The photo image can be seen here. So sorry for the SNAFU. Technology very often vexes me.

As a consolation prize, here’s an image from today’s somewhat of a surprise winter storm that landed in the Denver area. Finally…some snow. Sorry little tulips.

Stay safe effurry-one.

  1. My Golden Life – Upstate South Carolina – I love animals, especially dogs. I enjoy US history, and reading biographies of our former presidents and other historical figures. I love the music of the '60s and '70s since I was growing up in those decades. I love the Beatles and Andy Williams equally.
    My Golden Life says:

Poor tulips! Hope they survive the snow!

  2. tippysmom2 – I adopted a puppy in 2013 and it has been an adventure ever since. My Facebook friends love her stories, so thought I would share with others as well.

Love the picture of the tulips coming up through the snow. Thanks for the update. I, too, was unable to pull up the pictures. Technology can be so frustrating sometimes.

  3. The tulips looks especially nice in the snow. Hope it doesn’t kill them. Thanks for the links, will open at home where I can save them.

Spring flowering bulbs are very hardy and after walking past them this morning, they aren’t much worse for the wear.

    That gives me the shivers.

  5. arlene – It's been some years since I started this blog. Supposedly, it was only to share my plight as a cancer patient and survivor but over the years it has somehow evolved into something personal about my life and my family. So really glad to have met you all wonderful people out there. Someone commented once that he liked the title of this blog, Dreams and Escapes. Dream on, there are more things in life than we really think. Be happy, you only live once. Sometimes you also need an escape from the vicissitudes of life and this blog helps me cope. Welcome. Feel free to leave your comments, I do welcome them.

Thank you for the update and congrats on the Snow. Even if it does not last long, it’s nice to see mother nature has not completely forgotten you.
