On a day when the forecast is calling for temperatures in the upper 90’s, I wish I were back at Blaue Haus Café , a charming 100 year old house located in Oberstaufen, Germany (Bavaria) where the folkart was whimsical, the coffee and cake delicious and the garden charming and peaceful.   1. We were wishing we were somewhere hot for a bit, it was starting to feel like summer was already over here! Luckily it’s warmed up again – not as warm as you though! 🙂

  16. I simply would like to eat one more dinner in a restaurant in town that has long since closed. I always made our reservations for the book room. It was literally just that. A room lined wall to wall with books. There was something about eating in that room, it just added to the whole experience.
