Happy Monday and happy new month! Welcome to February, the month of love, where we hope 2021 finally gets off to a good start (January seemed to be either an extension of December or the 13th month of 2020). A new clean slate is making us hopeful that muzzles will be the de rigueur fashion item for uprights. And for heaven’s sake, wear it properly (not as a chin cozy, ‘kay?)
Don’t forget your muzzle when you leave your house as you make it a pawsome day!
As today is my baby brother’s birthday, this is a special shout out to wish him a terrific day. Here’s hoping you catch your limit on the river, Bro! Love ya.
Live, love, bark! 🐾
Lulu: “Our Dada says that these days, every once in a while, he dreams about leaving the house without his mask or leaving the house and being surrounded by people without masks!”
Charlee: “Wow, what weird dreams.”
Lulu: “I know, right?”
Chaplin: “Yeah, I mean, as far as we can tell, Dada NEVER leaves the house.”
I can’t imagine leaving the house without a mask. I even wear one to take the trash out to the alley!
Happy Birthday to your brother! Siblings are Awesome!
Happy February to you!! Yes. Yes about the muzzle! 🙂
It’s hard to believe my ‘baby’ brother turned 60! At this rate he’ll become older than me soon. 🤣
LOL!!
happy bday to the bro
and oh my goodness is it so easy to have a chin cozy – the comic is great
They might as well not wear anything. Plus it make a person look like a total douche.
Great cartoon…and sentiment, LOL!
A smile is helpful even with something as serious as mask wearing. Have a great week!
Yes, maybe humor is more effective than wear your #^*%$! mask.
Hahahaha! Yes, I so agree. #whatiswrongwithpeople
If only they would ALL wear their muzzle!!
Happy birthday to your baby brother. 1st of the first of the month babies… That is a rare thing!
Happy what’s left of Monday!
Thanks. He’s the first of three in our family with birthdays on the first. Wild, isn’t it? Happy Monday.

Happy Birthday to the Bro!!! The peeps here have been talking about double muzzling – we sure hope they aren’t talking about US!!!
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Hahaha. Not you guys! 😷
Happy Monday, Monika. Time for a beer. Clink!
Oh, twist my arms. 🍺
I know …. you are a tough one to convince.
Happy Monday!!
Hope yours is pawsome! 🐾
Well, the month of love has started well. There was a new skylight over the bedroom…there was a bright full moon….
Plush, very large and hairy, was spooked by the unaccustomed shadows and hurled himself onto the pillows beside me, to snore and fart the night away, his paw on my head to make sure he ws not alone…
Some early Valentine that was!
Bwahaha, that’s so funny. But also adorably sweet. Fur kids make the best Valentine. ❤️❤️❤️
I never thought about it that way, but it’s true!
Happy Birthday to your baby brother, Monika.
Thanks for the birthday wishes, Marco. His is the first of several family members born on the first of a month which I think is somewhat unusual. Then again, we’re all kind of unusual so maybe it’s a given. 😆
You know it.
That IS unusual. But it’s a nice springboard to the months ahead.
😉
And a great excuse to celebrate.
Like the joke.”I am finished with the 31 day free trial of 2021 and I want to return it.” Been wearing my muzzle since March 2020.
We need a full refund for January and can’t even contemplate being outside without a mask. Happy Monday, John!
I agree.
The AJF has a mask with little Maltese dogs printed on it. I know, I know…almost ashamed to admit that I gave it to her. Seniors and their frou frou dogs.
Hey nothing wrong with showing a bit of Malt pride. I’ve made a few that are breed specific. 😷
Quelle surprise. 😷
🤪
Cute. I wear mine properly and it is with me always.
Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches to the pups. ♥
Gold star for you! 😷 These people who leave theirs on below the nose and mouth make me crazy.
Last October we went to a Italian restaurant and our waitress had hers on just hanging from one ear. She waited on us anyway. 🙂
Argh!! I may have been inclined to say something to her or walk out.
I worked in law enforcement for many years. Exposed to all kinds of nasty things. I learned not to over stress about such things. I was working when HIV/Aids hit. We had protocols and we followed them. 🙂
It used to be most people followed the rules. These days everyone tries to be more clever about breaking them. 😦
I’ve finally stopped putting on lipstick to go out, LOL. And I’ve finally started remembering to put on my mask before I walk into the store, instead of stopping, covering my mouth with my hand, and putting it on. I’m trainable.
Lipstick? What’s that. I’ve saved a bundle in makeup this past year. 👄
Me too! And clothes (which I usually get at Goodwill anyhow, but won’t buy clothes without trying them on, and their dressing rooms are closed.
There hasn’t been any reason to buy new clothes either. Which is probably a good thing. No need cramming the closet with any new stuff.
I really wish all uprights would heed your advice on masks!
It’s a constant drumbeat…they could help stem this mess by just following this simple rule. 🤞🏼 #dontbeamaskhole #wearamask
February the month of Love as in I love that January is over? 🤭. Here’s hoping for a healthy and continued March towards April and beyond. Have a good week at The Ranch!
Right! Good take on the month of love, Michael! Hope you have a terrific week and month.
I’m hopeful, but I’m not holding my breathe. LOL I get so upset when people have their masks down on their chin. Why even bother? I also agree that Jan seems like the 13th month of 2020. Hopefully the rest of the year will get better. Have a great week.
Hope so too. Our rate is starting to fall a tiny bit so hopefully that’s a sign that things will start improving. Have a great week!
LOL true!!! Have a great start into new week and into a new month ;O)
Fingers crossed! Here’s hoping the new month is a good one.
