Thanks, dear kitty!
Oh, wow! That looks cool! For some reason, I saw spider eggs. But thatâs on me (long story).
Had it not rained earlier that morning, Iâd have thought the same thing!
It looks like rock candy.
Now that you mention itâŠđ
Lulu: âOoh! Looks dangerous! Even though it isnât!â
Not to worry sweet girl, no paws were injured in the taking of that photograph.
Iâve got one word for that photographic âwonderâ â STUNNING. What a great captureâŠâŠmost people would walk right by but you saw the magic!
Hugs, Pam
Why thank you! It was so striking, how could I NOT photograph it? Even a simple weed has beauty I guess.
Oh, MY, That is very lovely! Like art in nature!
ThanksâŠI thought so too!
Great photograph. Did you use a Macro Lens? The clarity is really good.
No, it was just taken with my regular iPhone. Nothing fancy, an older model to boot. Hard not to photograph anything you see with the quality of cell phones nowadays. I rarely use my good DSLRâs anymore. Less to carry when youâre walking 2 dogs.
No, dandelions with seeds just make more dandelions unless you turn them into dandelion wine/
A superb photograph!
Thanks, Helen. Appreciate that!
Gorgeous capture!!!
Many thanks for those kind words.
So beautiful!!!
Thanks. Nature shows off some amazing looks.
Really cool! I would have never pegged that as a dandelion.
I know! Looks more like thistle, doesnât it?
Makes you not want to touch it. Thanks, Monika
It really did. Texture like that is hard to resist.
Cool, that does look prickly!
Doesnât it though?
Interesting shot â I wouldnât have guessed what that was!
Itâs so porcupiney!
As Dale said, âthat is rather cool!â Truly! Thatâs an awesome shot!
Guess dandelions donât hold up so well in the rain đ
Great shot!
Why thank you! It was something out of the ordinary of an often too frequently seen ordinary weed.
The hedgehog of weeds.
And with the amount of rain lately more than prolific. đ
Then they dry and along comes the wind and a few weeks later- voila! â dandelions everywhere! Nature is such fun. Grr. (Ooops, sorry, the rules say no growling.) đ
With dandelions, growl away. I know I have been.
What a great shot. It does look prickly. That was my first thought and then I read what you wrote. Great shot.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to Elsa, a smooch to Norman and a hug to you. â„
Thanks, Sandee. The recent rain transformed the landscape in ways I would never have imagined.
That is rather cool!
Such a different view of the common dandelion.
No kidding! It gives it a totally different texture.
Iâm not even gonna try to top Phennyâs hilarious comment. Iâll just mention that, unlike most people, I love dandelions!
I love them too. Just wish they didnât love me and my garden so much.
wow that looks interesting⊠it reminds me of the head of phil spector somehow ;O)
Hahaha! I almost felt sorry for it getting itâs soft little head wet.
