  1. Sand Spring Chesapeakes – Cambria, WI – My husband and I have six "furry" children Gambler, Glory, Guilty, Slammer, Gertie and one cat Bones and two furangel's Norman and Nellie. We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.

  6. The weather here is going to be beautiful – so I plan on walks, a little early yard work and just enjoying it as much as possible (oh yeah – and catching up on the blog and blog comments). Choppy and I already got in a 3+ mile walk this morning, so things are clearly off to a good start!

  7. Raining here today but warm. Fleas are going to be horrible this year (and other insects). I am back on my no sugar way of living starting today!!

    Yes we survived the week of nice weather – bit cool , but nice. Working in the garden with my Associate as supervisor and, sadly, two of my Mandevilla have died. I think the heat last week did for them. Other than that – Weekend looks good…….

  10. going to our favorite nature park, lily loves it there esp. the creek and yard work. in the 60s this weekend. enjoying the outdoors while we can.
    with the winter being warmer then usual i’m hoping we’re not in for another hot and humd summer. we just lost two of our pine shade trees to the pine martin beetle. sorry to sound so dismal but I’m already worrying about our electric bill.

  14. Special plans include finding the adorable pup in the picture adopting it 😉 More rain here in NorCal so maybe hit the shop for a project or two and some major hunkering down in front of the fireplace. Enjoy whatever you will be doing.
