    Tippy loves to come in and turns her butt to me to be petted. I can’t escape, so, she gets what she wants. Sometimes, her reactions from the process are priceless, but, usually, she will get her loving and then lay down on the rug in front of the sink to wait for me to finish. I really think she is expecting either a ride or a walk, since, as an older woman, I always go to the bathroom before leaving the house. LOL

  5. Always! Luna will come running from another area of the house if she hears me lift the toilet seat. She takes her duties very seriously. Teddy likes to check on his humans when they shower. Love this pic of your two!

  6. Sand Spring Chesapeakes – Cambria, WI – My husband and I have six "furry" children Gambler, Glory, Guilty, Slammer, Gertie and one cat Bones and two furangel's Norman and Nellie. We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.

  12. Yep. Bear HAS to be in there with me too. He’ll rip up carpet trying to tunnel under the door and knock the door down if I close him out. He thinks whatever is on the other side of the door must be SOOOO cool. A lot of the time, he’ll come in, look around, and then move along (though if I shut the door again, he’ll come back). For the first 6 months after I adopted him, he had to be in there when I took a shower too; and he’d play the in and out game. The grass is always greener on the other side of a closed door!

  19. Both of my cats went through a phase where they wanted in the bathroom every time I was parked on my thinking throne. Every once in a while, I’d shut the door behind them and realizing they were now trapped in the same room they once got flea bath torture in many years ago must have triggered enough bad memories for them to leave me at peace on the pot now!

  23. Wait, there are people who can use the bathroom without an audience? I had no idea!

    Schooner is actually worse than Choppy. Choppy just wants to watch, but Schooner is rather curious about the whole process and wants to jump on the toilet with you. It’s not the kind of thing I can post on the Internet, but it would definitely be a post that gets a lot of views!
