I love cheese too
Bentley and Pierre love cheese. There aren’t too many treats that they don’t love. ☺
The usual suspects: cheese, yogurt, peanut butter and chicken. And any fish I am willing to spare. Nothing sweet – no carrots or apples. My dogs don’t have a sweet tooth although Portia got into the neighbours’ house once, when they were gone, and got hold of a box of chocolates which she calmly unwrapped and consumed, in their entirety, atop the bed in the master suite….
Now that’s quite the vision-an entire box of chocolates ! Sam wouldn’t eat a piece of fruit or a vegetable with a gun to his head. *sigh*
I’m pretty sure that’s Rita’s favorite too… Although maybe chicken. Tough call! I’m sure she’d like me to do some testing to figure out which is the true favorite!
Yes, extensive testing is required. It’s in the dog rule manual, chapter on treats. 😉
Dakota’s favorite human treat is popcorn, popcorn, popcorn!!!!!!
Whatever is on the table…followed by cooked ox kidney and tinned sardines in olive oil – NOT tomato sauce….

i aways sniff thru the grocery bags looking for bagels. then i get half a bagel and with mouth full tail wagging off i go.
like hot dogs too but they always come with a pill. no tail wagging.

I have to say your choice of treat sounds ‘pawfectly’ delish! Keep up with the bags sniffing…you never know what goodies will show up. 🙂
My dog loves liver. If you go to Youtube and search “peace and woof liver treats,” there’s a really good recipe.
Oooh, will have to check that one out. Sam looks liver too but the smell…oh my dog!
Yeah, I don’t like the smell, but this recipe isn’t too bad.
Kaci and Kali (and Kyla and Kenzie before them) love frozen organic green beans right out of the freezer and the bag-no defrosting. It’s a conspiracy because nobody mentioned MY fave, sunflower seeds.
We had to limit sunflower seeds with our cockatiel because it made her hyper, is that true, Kismet? 🙂

My gang doesn’t turn their noses up on any thing, they love all treats so really no favorite.
It’s funny how some dogs can eat just about anything and others whose shall remain unnamed 😎 are more judicious. BOL

Anything… but pepperoni is probably at the top of the desirability scale! If I offered him dry kibble, and you had pepperoni on you, he would give me his look of total disdain… and give you the best “poor me” look that he could muster!
And I’d happily give it to him!

Benji likes Soft Chewy Good-O. Trouble is after seeing Benji eating them, the WaWa now likes them but on this they share.

Nugget’s favorite treat is Turkey Bacon by Dognation. She will do just about anything for a piece of that. Cheese would be a very close second.
Sam is so unlucky to have a dog mom who’s a vegetarian. I didn’t read this to him so he would feel mistreated. 😉
Haha that is funny! Nugget is on a strict diet currently of only pork & sweet potato so she hasn’t had turkey bacon for 2 weeks! I think its harder on me than her:)

I like cheese, too, S. Plus I like the summer treats Mom makes for me by mixing and freezing plain yogurt, peanut butter, and applesauce with a little Milkbone on top for a handle.

How lucky for you. Sam is kind of picky (although standard poodles I’m reminded, are not picky, but discerning-LOL). His preference is Muenster cheese right now, with cheddar a close second. 🙂
Yes, it does make it easy and luckily they know boundaries and never try to steal food either.
Fortunately Sam has not been a thief. Yet. LOL
