In honor of the New Year, I thought I’d mix it up a little bit today with a new category I’m calling, “Wish I Was There Wednesday.” This video came from an aggregator site that I’ve contributed to in the past.

It may be a short week for some of you, but hopefully you’ll take a moment to savor a place not many people know about but who definitely should. Besides, if you’re like many working people, there won’t be another holiday until Memorial Day so you might as well store up some peaceful spots now to help alleviate your stress level down the road. You’re welcome.

  8. LOL, my crew works 364 nights a year. What are these holidays of which you speak?

    Thankfully, I can take plenty of extra time off to find my stress free place…. like this zero day week, for instance! 😉

    1. I would love to be there too – my lab loves playing in the woods!

      While we do have big forests in Sweden naturally – we definitely don’t have the same weather as Portugal. Wish we did!

  12. Sand Spring Chesapeakes – Cambria, WI – My husband and I have six "furry" children Gambler, Glory, Guilty, Slammer, Gertie and one cat Bones and two furangel's Norman and Nellie. We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.
